I've tried countless whitening products, but personally, this one seems to be the most effective. In my opinion, it's far superior to Kiehl's offerings. The price is a bit disappointing, and the scent isn't particularly pleasant. However, it's not overwhelmingly bad. Since there are many counterfeit products out there, I strongly recommend purchasing this from a department store for authenticity. - sh*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityJan 9, 2021
Despite being a high-end product, I honestly can't find anything particularly good about it... I don't reach for it at all. Severe pilling issues. Absolutely no hydration. Even when I apply the tiniest amount, I can't tell if it's absorbing. It feels like it's just sitting on top of my skin, not blending in with other products. Instead of this, you're better off using Kiehl's clear essence. It's far more effective for brightening your complexion. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 3, 2020
A trusted choice for brightening. I rely on it for its whitening effects. It seems to work well on my dark spots. I was shocked to see the harmful ingredients. It seems unavoidable with functional cosmetics though. - zu****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2020
My redness has improved significantly! I've only been using it for two months, so I'm not sure if it's reducing blemishes yet. However, I think it's worth the money because my redness has noticeably improved. The price is quite steep. I go through one 50ml bottle in just two months, which is a bit tough on the wallet. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2020
It has a nice whitening effect. I think consistently using products like this is better than getting laser treatments. It's quite expensive and the amount is small. Still, I would repurchase and recommend it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 20, 2020
The fragrance is lovely, and after consistent use, I've noticed excellent brightening results. However, you need to use it regularly to see the effects... and the price is quite steep, which is a bit of a drawback. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2020
I loved that it didn't cause any blemishes, and the way it absorbs, its absorption, and moisturizing power were all excellent. The price is wickedly high, so I usually buy it at duty-free shops. - ca*******Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 5, 2019
It helps fade dark spots and blemishes, and reduces slight redness on the cheeks. The texture is convenient for direct application to the face. The quantity is a bit on the smaller side, and it's a shame that the container can't stand upright. Applying this essence followed by a face oil seems to boost hydration. - su********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresNov 7, 2019
Considering the price of 150,000-160,000 won, this product is overpriced and not worth the money. Moreover, it's excessively rich and has poor ingredients. Those with super sensitive skin or blemish-prone skin should probably avoid it. While it may have some effect on pigmentation caused by blemishes, it doesn't work as a spot eraser for freckles or dark spots (it just prevents them from worsening - perhaps they should rename the product!). It does have an overall brightening effect, but there's no reason to use such an expensive product if you're just aiming to brighten your complexion. There are many good, affordable options out there. For the best results, focus on regular exfoliation, vitamin C and hydration, along with a healthy diet and good sleep. As a life and skincare veteran (call me an unsolicited advice giver if you will!), I'd say don't spend big money on products like this. For pigmentation and dark spots that have already appeared, dermatological treatments are your only real solution. Instead, focus on preventing them by diligently applying sunscreen before they occur. The ingredients are irritating and the product is extremely rich. Those with oily, blemish-prone skin should avoid using this. - ra******Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 30, 2019
The difference between using and not using this is huge! It quickly fades freckles and darkened areas, restoring your skin. I'm desperately trying to repair my sun-damaged skin from summer trips with this. It's the product that's given me some confidence to go bare-faced. I'm using it with Laneige White Dew Essence. Love the scent and everything about it! The price is absolutely wicked! I think I bought the double pack at duty-free for around $300... Yikes! I've been trying to save product by only applying it to dark spots, but now my skin looks patchy... Oops! My forehead is the darkest part.
