It's not matte at all, but wonderfully moisturizing! The way it absorbs is really excellent. The color payoff is quite sheer. The staying power isn't as good as NARS and doesn't last very long. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2022
1. The shade matches my cool undertone perfectly. 2. It's subtle enough for the office - not too flashy, just a lovely, understated beauty (I think it's the quintessential 'effortlessly chic' color). 3. This might be subjective, but I love the simple design and how well the color suits me. Just having it in my collection makes me happy! 4. The creamy texture applies smoothly and evenly. 1. You need to exfoliate well before applying, otherwise it can settle into dry patches and look messy (though this is common with many lipsticks). 2. It's a small lipstick, but the price is quite high (I suppose we're paying for the brand name). For the best results, make sure to exfoliate and moisturize your lips before applying. It looks even more stunning when layered with a bold tint - creates an intriguing allure! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 25, 2021
While this shade doesn't suit me personally, it's a color I've been gifting to friends since college who look great with a brown hair dye that's a bit more vibrant than their natural color (nowadays, we might describe it as having a 'spring-like' vibe). It always earns me compliments! The pigmentation is quite good, and it has this warm, approachable feel to it. It's like a salmon pink...? But when you actually try to find that exact shade, it's not quite there. It's a uniquely captivating color that's hard to pin down. It's truly beautiful, but it genuinely doesn't work for my complexion. - el*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 15, 2021
I've been collecting NARS lipsticks whenever I can because their ongoing colors are so beautiful without being too trendy. Niagara is a subdued coral-pink shade. It's not just a simple coral-pink, but more like a sophisticated one with a drop of milk tea. It's a versatile color you can wear when you want something that's not too flashy but also doesn't make you look washed out. Being a satin type, it applies with great color payoff. True to NARS lipsticks, it has excellent longevity and adherence. The only downside is the price. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with the product. You can transform it into a velvet lip by layering with Rom&nd Lip Matter. - su******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2021
It's great as a base layer. The color payoff isn't overwhelming and applies naturally, making it perfect for everyday makeup. It seems to look best on well-moisturized lips. As someone with a lot of dead skin cells on my lips that tend to crack easily, I found it challenging to apply beautifully. - ha********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresAug 28, 2020
The rosy color makes it perfect for daily use without feeling overwhelming. I wore it almost every day in spring. It's on the matte side but applies smoothly, so the absorption is really excellent. I bought it online, and the color was a bit more vibrant than I expected. Strangely, after applying, it seems like the shade would only suit a limited range of warm complexions. - du********Dry SkinRecommendedAug 5, 2020
This lipstick has become my holy grail! At first glance, I thought it wouldn't suit me... Most pink lipsticks didn't work for me, so I usually stuck to beige coral, orange coral, and muted coral shades. But this might be the only pink lipstick I can pull off... It's absolutely fantastic! Color payoff: Considering the product's color and formula, the pigmentation is excellent! The color shows up on the lips exactly as it appears in the tube! Application: It's moisturizing while adhering well to the lips! If I had to describe it, I'd say it's somewhere between moisturizing and semi-matte. As a result, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells and doesn't feel dry on the lips! Portability: The size is perfect for carrying in pockets or makeup bags! Design: The matte square case... NARS has its own unique vibe, different from MAC... I absolutely love it! There were no downsides! I'm completely satisfied! I think it would suit light muted tones better than bright tones! Recommended for spring light deep undertones! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2020
As a warm-toned person with naturally rosy lips, Niagarais my holy grail lipstick. NARS lipsticks generally have excellent color payoff and a semi-matte finish that's not sticky, with just enough moisture to prevent dead skin cells from appearing. This shade is my absolute favorite. It creates a soft, natural 'no-makeup makeup' look that gives a gentle impression. The case is an issue. Please change the case material! While the matte NARS packaging is beautiful, it tends to get scratched and sticky over time, possibly due to contact with sweat or emulsions from hands. It's such a shame.
