I have thin, slightly wavy hair. Usually, oil-based essences don't absorb well, causing clumping and tangling, making my hair even frizzier, so I generally prefer emulsion formulas. However, this oil is an exception that I'm really enjoying!

The formula is lightweight. It's transparent with a thin, flowing consistency. It spreads evenly through my hair, leaving no residue on my palms as it absorbs completely. With almost no viscosity, it's light enough to apply even on dry hair. It seems perfect for those with fine hair.

It tames my waves beautifully. I apply two pumps to damp hair before blow-drying, and once dry, my hair is incredibly smooth. It detangles effortlessly, controls frizz well, and seems to be a great match for me.

The scent is lovely. I'm quite sensitive to smells and often get headaches or nausea from artificial fruit scents or overpowering floral fragrances like car air fresheners. This oil has a subtle, pleasant argan scent that doesn't cause any discomfort. There's an almond image on the packaging, but I can't really detect that scent.

While my hair can get frizzy due to its wavy texture, it's generally in good condition without split ends or damage. I use a hot blow dryer daily and often use a flat iron, but my hair hasn't suffered any damage while using this oil. While I can't speak to its ability to improve already damaged hair, I believe it's providing good heat protection.

The scent is cherry blossom & peach, which is exactly like a combination of peach and floral notes. However, it is not overpowering or common, and is well-balanced.

Even when applying 3 pumps for long hair, it does not make the hair feel heavy at all. If your hair is shorter than shoulder-length, 1-2 pumps would be sufficient.

I would recommend this if you are looking for a lightweight hair oil to protect against heat damage or gently tame your hair before drying. However, if your hair is severely damaged, I would suggest trying a more nourishing, richer type of hair oil.

The fact that it doesn't damage my hair when drying was great. As I have long hair, I couldn't just keep blowing cold air. When I applied it evenly before drying, my hair became less tangled and softer. It wasn't as frizzy and I liked that. It also looked a bit more glossy.
