At first, it feels nice on the skin. On days when my skin is in good condition, it helps control blemishes. I bought this at Sephora because it claimed to control acne. I applied it when I had breakouts, but it caused some kind of dryness on my skin. After visiting a dermatologist, I'm now slathering on regenerating creams! If you have good skin, I'd recommend it, but if not, don't buy it.

It's incredibly effective at calming inflamed areas and blemishes when applied. There's a noticeable soothing effect, and it feels like it's drying out the blemishes in a good way. I can't use cheaper domestic products anymore. This is now my go-to solution. The alcohol scent is disappointingly strong. Also, the pink powder at the bottom always solidifies and remains, as the alcohol evaporates quickly. Apply with a cotton swab and close the lid immediately after use, as the formula evaporates quickly if left open for long periods. When applied to pustular acne, it significantly reduces inflammation by the next day. It really works. Due to the alcohol content, it may feel slightly tingling or irritating. I didn't see much effect on closed comedones. For everyday use, I manage spots with tea tree oil, but when pustular acne comes to a head, this product is amazing! Clears up blemishes almost overnight. One of the most effective calamine treatments I've ever used. It works hard to combat skin issues. The packaging is a bit frustrating to use. When I dab this product on blemishes with a cotton swab before bed, they're significantly reduced by the next morning! Acne that would normally take 3-4 days to clear up disappears in just one or two days. It's truly amazing - I can't live without it! It's only effective on pustular acne. It doesn't work on small bumps or slightly raised blemishes. Also, using this product can leave scars, so you need to be very careful with aftercare.
