The gel-type formula isn't too rich and absorbs well into the skin, leaving it hydrated. I loved that it didn't cause any pilling when applying makeup over it. The scent is a mild lemon fragrance, which should be suitable even for those sensitive to strong smells. I had high hopes that consistent use would brighten my complexion, so I diligently applied it morning and night until I finished the whole bottle... Unfortunately, I didn't notice much brightening effect by the time I used it all up. It also didn't seem to lighten my dark spots and freckles as I had hoped. I'm unsure whether to continue using it. Melano Brightening Cream I bought this product from Yuriskin, a fairly well-known brand on Hwahae, at a reasonable price! This cream focuses on whitening and hydration. The texture looks like a translucent gel, but it's actually quite rich. It has an amazing feel that absorbs instantly when applied to the skin. Perhaps because of this, it locks in moisture well, so I didn't experience any dryness. Whitening effect: I'd give this aspect three and a half stars. After thoroughly absorbing this product and sleeping, my skin becomes brighter with a noticeable brightening effect. However, if I don't apply it for about two days, my skin becomes dull again. So the long-lasting effect was a bit disappointing. Still, with consistent use, your skin will become even brighter. Since there is a noticeable whitening effect, I'm satisfied with the product's performance at this price point. I was looking for a brightening product, so I backed this crowdfunding campaign, and it definitely seems to be lightening my skin! It absorbs quickly and has great application, making it easy to use without feeling heavy. I'm satisfied because it's improved areas where I had slight pigmentation. It seems like you need to use it consistently morning and evening for best results. The hydration isn't particularly impressive. It was fine in summer, but with fall and winter coming, its matte and fresh style means you need to mix it with oil or use it alongside another moisturizer. But then again, you're applying it for brightening effects, not hydration. I recommend supplementing the moisture with other products. It absorbs well and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Even those who usually avoid emulsions found this one comfortable to use. Some users reported that their blemishes appeared slightly faded after using it. The quantity seems a bit on the smaller side, and the tube feels somewhat flimsy. As someone with severe deep dryness, I feel like my skin is coated in hydration after applying the Hwahae cream. The moisture is palpable when I touch my face, and even after wearing makeup for hours, my skin feels less tight. Due to its lightweight formula, I use the Hwahae cream in summer and the Melano cream in winter. While consistent long-term use might slightly fade dark spots and blemishes, don't expect dramatic results. It's lightweight and moisturizing, making it pleasant to use. The tube packaging is more hygienic than the previous bottle type. I love that it's so light that I can apply it frequently without any pilling. It absorbs well into the skin too. While it instantly brightens your complexion when first applied, the effect tends to fade somewhat over time.

But after a few days of neglect, they darkened again. Then I started using the Melano serum and Melano Brightening cream, and within just a week, they significantly faded! It wasn't quite as light as the first time, but that took about 3 weeks of application and the sun wasn't as strong then. Still, I think this is showing quite effective results! Those with very dry skin might find it a bit drying. While it absorbs better than the Melano cream, probably due to the hyaluronic acid, there's still a slight feeling of dryness. I apply the green tangerine serum together with it. But it doesn't have to be that specific serum - using any Vitamin C product alongside would likely enhance the effects. I'm planning to add an idebenone product to my routine soon. If it works well together, I'll update with additional feedback.

It applies smoothly and keeps my skin comfortably moisturized until the next morning without feeling sticky - it's truly my holy grail cream! I was initially worried it might be super sticky when spreading, but it absorbs quickly so my hair doesn't stick to my face. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and fresh. I also love the subtle, refreshing scent that's characteristic of Yuri skin creams! While the brightening effects may take consistent use to notice, I felt it was more effective for hydration and improving skin texture. Don't expect dramatic whitening results in a short time - results can vary person to person. Initially, there was a production issue that led to a total recall - that faulty product was shockingly thick and drying. But this new version has addressed all those issues! If I had to nitpick, I wish the lid was designed to keep the product upright. It's slightly curved, so it keeps tipping over and I have to lay it down. Also, I found it a bit heavy for daytime use under makeup, so I only used it at night. For combination skin, summer use. Morning routine: toner > serum > brightening moisturizer > makeup. Evening routine: toner > serum > cream. Apply a thin layer and gently pat it in for better absorption!
