ConsSince this product is formulated for oily skin types, the inclusion of allantoin helps address my issues with dryness and skin irritation, which are common problems for me. However, for those without such skin concerns, there may not be a strong need to use this product. The formula itself is highly satisfactory, but one aspect I find a bit disappointing is the product name. Even when I first started using it and now, I don't feel it accurately represents the texture, which is more akin to a watery toner rather than a typical ampoule. Ampoules are usually thicker and richer in consistency. This product has more of a runny, serum-like texture. That said, using this alone as my entire skincare routine leaves my skin more hydrated than when I use a full regimen with a separate cream. So while the name may be misleading, the product itself performs beyond the expectations of a simple toner.
TipYou're right, the optimal usage can vary depending on one's skin condition. As an oily-skinned person myself, I also found a single layer to be insufficient. I typically apply 2-3 layers, adjusting the amount based on my skin's needs at the time. For instance, when my flakiness was severe, I mixed in 2 drops of tamanu oil, which helped it absorb better and improved my skin condition quickly. However, due to the product's semi-opaque and viscous texture, I find it works better to gently pat it in with my hands rather than using it as a mask-like pack. The texture is not quite as lightweight as a typical toner.
