It adheres well to the skin and has a beautiful, graceful wear-off. When I go out wearing this, people often compliment me on how good my skin looks. The price is on the higher side. Those with dry skin need to prep their skin well before use. It's difficult to tell how much product is left in the container. - ey*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedSep 2, 2021
I tried a sample I received as part of an event. This foundation is quite moisturizing, with surprisingly good coverage. Usually, when a foundation is both hydrating and high-coverage, it tends to feel heavy, suffocating, and doesn't adhere well to the skin. However, this one has excellent adherence. There's definitely something special about this pricier option. I'm not sure if I applied it incorrectly, but it seemed to emphasize my pores a bit. The shade was also a bit too yellow and dark for me. And to top it off, it's really expensive! - de******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 25, 2020
I managed to get my hands on the discontinued version of Parure and I'm loving it! People say the color looks so natural, and shade 23 works great for me! The matte-like texture is perfect for these mask-wearing times! However, I'm not sure I understand all the hype about the skin finish that everyone seems to be raving about. It works well with Guerlain and L'Oréal too. I mix it with Dior Glow foundation, which gives it a bit more hydration and applies beautifully. - 20******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessNov 16, 2020
The tone is incredibly natural, just like my own skin. It's undeniably subtle. This product is truly excellent, assuming you're not wearing a mask! While it's natural-looking, it doesn't provide any brightening effect. It tends to settle into fine lines and break down, especially around the 042 area. Any trace of makeup completely disappears. Given that we're in a time where mask-wearing is common, you can visibly see it fading away. Sadly, even using a primer and setting spray doesn't help much. Although you can apply it a bit thicker without it looking heavy, if you want more coverage, try layering it. That does improve things somewhat. Since it's quite dark, I apply this as a base and then use Le Soin Ciel to slightly brighten the complexion and give a slightly matte finish. That makes it a bit better. - sj*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2020
It's truly hydrating! Once applied, the makeup doesn't break down easily. It pairs wonderfully with a moisturizing sunscreen - when used together, your skin looks absolutely radiant and healthy! I have a slightly yellow-toned complexion around 21-22 shade, and the color matched perfectly. The price is... gulp... over $100 for a foundation. It's incredibly expensive. Also, I noticed some darkening on my skin as time passed. Try applying it over a hydrating sunscreen base. The skin finish is genuinely beautiful! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedOct 4, 2020
It's great at naturally concealing small blemishes. It doesn't give that 'I'm wearing makeup!!!' look, but instead provides a natural glow that I love. Above all, this foundation offers the most natural wear-off you'll ever experience. You don't really need touch-ups. That's why, despite its price point, I find myself only using this foundation. Due to its formula, it's not exceptionally long-lasting. It pairs well with powder. If you just set the areas that tend to fade, it won't become too matte. - sg****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2020
This foundation is perfect for when you want to put extra effort into your makeup. The staying power is top-notch and the coverage is excellent. Be careful with the amount you use - if you apply even a little too much, it can look cakey. Precise application is essential. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 19, 2020
As a former foundation nomad, I've settled on this for 4 years now. If you don't have sensitive skin, this is the ultimate for skin perfection. It's also great at covering blemish marks. The shade is too dark (even the 00 shade is equally dark). For those with super sensitive skin, this could be trouble. It might trigger blemishes... Looking at the ingredients, there are quite a few problematic ones. That's why I'm planning to switch to something else now. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2020
This is hands down the best foundation I've ever used, beating all the department store and road shop brands combined. It's number one!!! I have dry skin and redness on my cheeks, which usually causes my foundation to flake when I get hot or embarrassed. But with this, there's none of that. It keeps my skin moisturized all day long~ I've never found a foundation that makes my skin look this beautiful. It even looks prettier as it wears off. By the afternoon, my skin has this gorgeous glow. Since I have dry skin, I don't usually need touch-ups, but with other foundations, I'd still get some buildup around my nose. With this one, I don't need to do a thing!!! It's truly a holy grail foundation for those with dry skin. Even though the darkening is a bit annoying, I'll put up with it for how beautifully it enhances my complexion. I docked one star because of the color. I can overlook the questionable ingredients. I can even accept the high price. But the color! It's just... ugh! I had to buy it duty-free in a rush without testing, so I grabbed 123 thinking, 'I usually use 23 and I have darker skin, so 3 must be right^^ ' Big mistake. Shade 3 is really... when I first applied it, I thought it might be a bit dark, but after it oxidized, it was darker than my neck. It was so embarrassing... My friend thought I was wearing camouflage cream...^^ It's not even the color of soybean paste, it's just... I bought shade 17 to mix with it and struggled through using it, but the darkening became unbearable, so I gave up and repurchased shade 2^^ But little did I know, you're dark too! Darkening, darkening!!! Curse this darkening. In the end, I'm mixing shade 17 and 2. Shade 3 is relegated to the drawer, destined to be thrown out on the next cleaning day... The opaque packaging makes it frustrating not knowing how much is left. When I finish this, I'll repurchase the renewed version... No matter how much you've been renewed, I won't be fooled again... I'll buy shade 00... It looks beautiful when applied with a puff. From experience, if you apply heavy skincare and go overboard, the darkening happens faster^^ The darkening doesn't just make it darker, it's more like a brick-colored face...? Like your liver isn't doing well...? It really makes your complexion look awful, so be careful! - mi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2019
Many people consider the gold shade a drawback for foundations, but I think it's actually a benefit for skin that needs the coverage level of a gold foundation, as it looks natural. When covering blemishes, a natural look is better than brightness. This product has decent coverage and gives a made-up appearance, so if the color were too bright, it might look cakey. The natural tone is gold's strong point. It's not drying, adheres well to the skin without emphasizing dead skin cells, and feels like it melds with your complexion. It doesn't cover pores or uneven texture. For skin types other than dry, it can get oily and break down in a dull way. It would have been nice if the natural look from when you first apply it lasted, but the way it breaks down unattractively is its biggest flaw.
