While this shampoo would be perfect for those with dry scalps, it was absolutely terrible for me with my oily scalp and seborrheic dermatitis. My scalp became even greasier, the odor persisted, and after about a week of use, my hair started falling out excessively. My scalp condition worsened to the point where I had to visit a dermatologist for prescription medication and medicated shampoo. My husband, who has a normal scalp, used about half the bottle before complaining that it didn't cleanse the oil well and left his scalp smelling. He ended up going to Olive Young to buy his own shampoo. I had high hopes due to the positive reviews, but I'm disappointed.

Oh, I'm not the type to use just one product every day, so I alternate between this and Aveda's mint shampoo.

The lather is really dense! You absolutely must use a foam net to create the lather before cleansing your scalp. If you don't create the foam first and apply the shampoo directly to your scalp, it takes a long time to rinse out... It seems to have strong adhesion. So if you rinse it as you would with regular shampoo, residue remains and can cause blemishes. If you're the type to quickly rinse your hair, you might be better off using a different shampoo. The foam keeps coming out even after rinsing for a while. Quick hair washing is impossible with this shampoo.
