I bought B3 for a tanned makeup look. I was torn between B4 and B3, but went with B3 as a safe choice. It looks quite dark when first applied, but becomes more natural after a while. I think B4 would give a more sophisticated and stylish hot summer look. I'm uploading comparison swatches with my existing foundations: - Banila Co. #21 is a bit light on me but gives a bright look - Ink Lasting #23 seems to match well, but looks too red and dull when applied - LAKA B3 satisfies my tanned makeup needs. The color looks pretty. The formula applies thinly and lightly, allowing for layering. Using a flat brush gives a luxurious finish that wears beautifully. As I have combination dehydrated skin, I finish with a light dusting of matte powder. Skin type: - Combination dehydrated: I prefer matte finishes but dislike bases that set and break down unattractively in the afternoon. - Color: #22, winter cool tone bright with some yellow undertones I was worried about the yellowish tint, but it works well for the tanned look, giving a warm-toned finish. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2021
Excellent coverage Moderate adherence Spreads smoothly Touch-ups were a breeze After a little while, it seems to darken slightly on the skin - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 24, 2021
The coverage was decent and I liked that it didn't look too obvious on the skin. It's a bit challenging to apply thinly, but overall it's still pretty good. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2020
The coverage is good, but that's about the only positive thing I can say... The color isn't flattering, and it doesn't wear off gracefully. I bought it because of all the hype, but it just doesn't suit my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2020
As a man with combination to dry skin and occasional blemishes, I have a medium skin tone (shade 25). Color match: The yellow-based foundation without any pink undertones was a perfect match for my slightly tanned skin. (It blended so well, it was barely noticeable...) Skin appearance: The finish is absolutely amazing... Despite its slightly thick and matte texture, I was surprised to see a subtle glow after application that made my skin look incredibly healthy. Longevity: The staying power is fantastic. I don't usually touch up during the day, but even when I came home in the evening after applying it in the morning, I was surprised to see my skin still looked radiant. Texture: Due to its thick consistency and matte finish, it felt quite drying when applied alone. It was also a bit challenging to blend without a brush or damp sponge. As a result, I've been mixing it with the Holika Tan Color in a 2:1 ratio. Testing: While La Casa products are available in Olive Young stores, I couldn't find any with testers for shade B3. Living in a smaller city, I checked about 4 stores, but they only had testers up to shade 23. This might make it difficult for some people to test before buying.
