Acne improved by over 95% within 3 days of application (This might sound like viral marketing, but I expect results to vary greatly depending on individual skin) Comparing with other Innisfree products: - Blueberry Rebalancing Cream: Didn't worsen acne but no improvement either. During hormonal changes, it was acne paradise. Still used it for a long time though. - Blueberry Rebalancing Cleansing Foam: Been using for 4-5 years, love it for being non-irritating - Green Tea Cream: Chin acne, forehead acne... sigh... didn't suit me. I had bought it after careful consideration too. - Green Tea Emulsion: Many reviews said it's good for acne, but it caused my inflammation to explode /I'm someone who gets inflammatory acne influenced by flour, hormones, fried foods, etc. It appears irregularly and non-periodically on forehead, cheeks, chin, etc. Not the severe type where the whole face is covered in acne. When clear, my skin is actually quite nice. /I think the beneficial bacteria ecosystem on my skin might have been disrupted from constantly squeezing and disinfecting due to acne. Since this is a probiotic product, I'm making a reasonable guess that it might have helped restore that beneficial bacterial balance. /I have dehydrated skin that doesn't absorb products well, so I always use cream without toner or emulsion. This cream provided hydration and controlled sebum. If your experience with Innisfree products is similar to mine, give this a try. After being burned by the Green Tea Emulsion more than the cream, I cautiously tried this Probiotics Cream and it was perfect for me. Seems like you really have to try products yourself rather than just trusting reviews. I don't wear makeup at all, and I applied this after washing with the mild acidic Blueberry Foam at night. Usually in winter, my skin would get dry and I'd need to apply more cream later, but with this one application was enough. Again, results may vary greatly depending on your skin type. Bought from Coupang. Didn't come with a spatula. Using a new Binggrae ice cream spoon I had at home as a temporary solution. Need to buy a proper spatula. I used to wonder why I should write reviews on Hwahae. I only lurked here before. But today I realized I'm writing this review to spread the word about this product, hoping it won't be discontinued. (Of course, some people might write reviews to vent when a product is terrible too) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 26, 2022
As someone with oily but dehydrated skin, I've been struggling with deep dryness. I reluctantly decided to try this product, and I'm so glad I did! It absorbs well, has a nice bouncy texture, and seems to have significantly reduced my skin's dryness. I love that it has gentle ingredients, and I can apply it generously both morning and night. It's also fragrance-free, which is a plus! The only downside might be the price. It's a bit on the expensive side. I also wish it came with a spatula, which would have been a nice addition. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 3, 2021
As someone with combination skin, I loved that this cream doesn't make my face greasy. The texture is just right - not too thick, not too runny. It's somewhere in between, and I'm really happy it doesn't feel oily! Even in this chilly weather, I don't think I'll feel dry using it. If it works well for me this winter, I plan to repurchase it! It's a shame there wasn't a spatula included, and I wish the price was a bit more wallet-friendly. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSep 24, 2019
The Hwahae Testers review I was pleasantly surprised to find it waiting for me at home, not even realizing I had won! With excitement, I tried it right after washing up. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found the cream's texture incredibly smooth and easy to apply. After application, my skin felt wonderfully soft, and I appreciated the fragrance-free formula. With the weather getting cooler and my skin becoming increasingly dry, winning this was a great opportunity to try a new cream. Before using it, my skin was quite flaky, but after applying it properly, my skin condition improved significantly. In the morning, I applied a moderate amount before makeup, and it made my skin feel firm and absorbed the makeup well, which I really liked. It seems like a perfect product for cooler autumn and winter weather. Given its slightly rich texture, there were times when applying too much before bed led to some blemishes. Also, I felt it was a bit wasteful to use the cream with my hands since it didn't come with a spatula. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 24, 2019
Here's my review as one of The Hwahae Testers: 1. It feels firm when applied, giving a sensation of tightening the skin. 2. There's no scent at all! -> At first, I thought 'Huh? Why doesn't it smell like anything?' Turns out, it doesn't contain any fragrances. 3. It might be my imagination, but I think it has a brightening effect too. 4. It has just the right amount of richness and absorbs well -> My skin is not extremely dry, but rather slightly dry. 1. It doesn't come with a spatula. 2. If you don't rub it in thoroughly when applying, it can leave a white cast. 3. No other issues to mention. Some people mentioned it was irritating, but it was fine for me. I think that's because my skin isn't particularly sensitive to begin with. In terms of price, it's quite reasonable, and it suits my skin well, so I think I'll stick with this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2019
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I'm writing this with the mindset of someone who bought it with their own money, without any bias. My skin has been stressed due to millet-like blemishes in the T-zone. Recently, I stopped using all my usual ampoules and only applied Innisfree's Cica Balm for my morning and evening skincare routine. While the Cica Balm alone didn't seem to address deep dryness, I was just grateful it didn't cause any breakouts, especially after struggling with trying different products. I was thrilled to be selected for The Hwahae Testers because the Cica Balm has been working well for my skin, and I even use Innisfree's foundation. I was curious about this product when it first launched, so this was a great opportunity. I applied this cream alone, morning and evening, after cleansing, as I had stopped using toner, ampoules, and essences. Despite not being a balm-type product like the Cica Balm, it has a rich texture. The absorption isn't amazing - you need to massage it in several times. It feels much thicker than the Green Tea Seed Cream. Unlike the Cica Balm, which can feel a bit surface-level, this cream doesn't have that sensation. After application, it absorbs comfortably but still leaves a slightly tacky feeling when touched. It doesn't feel suffocating like an oil film. Compared to other creams I have at home like Kiehl's and Physiogel, it's definitely richer and seems perfect for those with very dry skin. It feels like it could get you through winter! One thing I really want to praise is that it's fragrance-free! It seems rare for Innisfree cream products not to have their signature scent, so I really appreciated this. Most importantly, regarding blemishes - there were none! It's surprising because while my cheeks are very dry, my T-zone is usually an oil slick prone to pimples. Even using a face mask could cause breakouts the next day, but surprisingly, this didn't. Of course, I was careful with the amount I used on my T-zone, but despite its rich texture, it doesn't seem to clog the skin. I've been using only the Cica Balm for the past few months, so I'm glad to have found another product that works well for me. After applying mineral sunscreen, my skin usually feels dry over time, but because this cream is so rich and moisturizing, I didn't experience that dryness, which was great. This might be too heavy for those with oily skin types! It's not a light product that provides a burst of hydration to combat deep dryness. It feels more like a nourishing cream. Fortunately, it worked well for me without causing blemishes, but it's not a light texture and doesn't absorb easily, so make sure to test it first. In summer, due to its heavy texture, it might make your forehead look shiny in the light, and your bangs might get greasy more quickly. Also, it doesn't come with a spatula. While it would be more hygienic to have one, I'm using a cotton swab to scoop out the product. Other than that, I liked it! Pro tip: Those with oily skin types should avoid this, or be very careful with the amount used. However, it seems perfect for those with sensitive and very dry skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinSep 19, 2019
I have sensitive, slightly dry skin that leans towards normal! As the seasons changed, my summer skincare routine left me feeling extremely dry when I woke up. So, I was on the hunt for a fall-winter cream when I got tempted by this new product. I apply it as the final step in my nighttime routine after toner, serum, and moisturizer. First off, it absorbs well and the hydration lasts long, which means I can wake up without that dry feeling - that's a big plus! However, I think it might not be enough to completely combat dryness from late October to November. During that time, I plan to use it as a day cream after cleansing and before makeup. What I love is how comfortable it feels on my skin. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and it feels gentle on my sensitive skin. While it's richer than a typical hydrating cream, it's not overly heavy. I'd definitely recommend it for transitional seasons like we're in now. It's really disappointing that it doesn't come with a built-in spatula. I have a thick La Roche-Posay Cicaplast cream at home that doesn't absorb well, so I'm mixing it 1:1 with this cream. The combination absorbs much better and the hydration lasts longer - I'm loving it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 11, 2019
As someone with combination skin, I've always struggled with excess oil, especially in the morning. Even the slightest misstep with toner would leave my face shiny and feeling clogged. That's why I've been cautious, only using light toners based on Hwahae reviews. Recently, I learned that my skin type is actually dehydrated underneath despite the oily surface - a revelation that worried me since deep dryness can lead to loss of elasticity and wrinkles! Determined to find the right moisturizer, I scoured the Hwahae app and discovered Innisfree's new Probiotics Moisture Cream, similar to their popular Green Tea line for combination skin. Trusting the Hwahae reviews and friends' recommendations, I decided to give it a try. Upon application, I was amazed! It absorbed beautifully without leaving any greasy residue, yet provided deep hydration. It felt like it was truly nourishing my skin from within - a first for me! When I shared it with my mom, who has dry skin, she loved it so much she insisted I leave it with her and buy another for myself. This cream works wonders for both my combination skin and my mom's dry complexion. Thanks to Hwahae, I've progressed from basic skincare to finding the perfect autumn moisturizer. It's definitely on my repurchase list as I continue to improve my skincare routine. Texture: ★★★★ Hydration: ★★★★★ Residual oiliness (almost none): ★★★★ (Feels comforting) If I had to nitpick, there are two minor drawbacks. First, it doesn't come with a spatula, which means you have to use your fingers to scoop out the product. This might raise concerns about hygiene, but as long as you're careful, it shouldn't be a problem. Secondly, it's fragrance-free. I was actually hoping for a subtle, fresh scent like green tea, so I was a bit disappointed when I first opened it. However, the lack of fragrance means it's less likely to cause irritation, and in a way, it feels more natural and gentle on the skin. Here's a pro tip: On days when your face feels a bit warm, try storing the cream in the fridge for a short while before use. I've done this a couple of times before showering, and it gives a wonderfully cooling and soothing effect - like a hydrating mask! Of course, everyone's skin is different, so take this suggestion with a grain of salt.
