Initially, I was worried that being a stick foundation, it might not apply evenly like a liquid one. But that concern was just from my inexperience with stick formats. It actually applies beautifully! Just dab it lightly all over your face, then blend with a brush or beauty sponge for an even application. The best part? It doesn't cause pilling with other skincare products underneath! The coverage isn't mind-blowing, but it's pretty good. When used with a concealer, it helps neutralize redness and covers most blemishes (except the really big ones). It did a great job hiding my small acne scars too. (See attached photos)
ConsThe downside is that the built-in brush gets dirty really quickly. I've only used it a few times, and even after washing, it doesn't quite return to its original state. As I'm nearing the end of the product, the brush is starting to fall apart, so I'm just using the stick on its own now. The brush is quite delicate. Also, the staying power isn't as impressive as I'd hoped. On a cool day, it stays put for about 4 hours, but after that, it starts to break down a bit. I might repurchase, but keep in mind that compared to cushion foundations, stick formats tend to be less long-lasting.
TipI recommend using a makeup brush or sponge to blend the product, especially around the nose and forehead where you've applied the stick directly. For better longevity, try using a setting spray or powder. That's how I use it, and it works great!
