I got this product as a prize at an event! Initially, I was worried that being a stick foundation, it might not apply evenly like a liquid one. But that concern was just from my inexperience with stick formats. It actually applies beautifully! Just dab it lightly all over your face, then blend with a brush or beauty sponge for an even application. The best part? It doesn't cause pilling with other skincare products underneath! The coverage isn't mind-blowing, but it's pretty good. When used with a concealer, it helps neutralize redness and covers most blemishes (except the really big ones). It did a great job hiding my small acne scars too. (See attached photos) The downside is that the built-in brush gets dirty really quickly. I've only used it a few times, and even after washing, it doesn't quite return to its original state. As I'm nearing the end of the product, the brush is starting to fall apart, so I'm just using the stick on its own now. The brush is quite delicate. Also, the staying power isn't as impressive as I'd hoped. On a cool day, it stays put for about 4 hours, but after that, it starts to break down a bit. I might repurchase, but keep in mind that compared to cushion foundations, stick formats tend to be less long-lasting. I recommend using a makeup brush or sponge to blend the product, especially around the nose and forehead where you've applied the stick directly. For better longevity, try using a setting spray or powder. That's how I use it, and it works great! - fv******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2024
The built-in brush at the end is convenient, and its compact size makes it great for on-the-go touch-ups. While it's handy, the coverage is a bit disappointing. It gives a very natural, barely-there finish. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2023
Even though I have dry skin, it didn't feel particularly drying. The amount you get is generous. There's a slight darkening effect, but it offers great coverage. I can't really think of any downsides. However, I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJul 16, 2022
I bought this on sale and was pleasantly surprised. It absorbs well, isn't too matte, and the brush attached to the back is great. The brush is nice, but it keeps falling off. I had to use super glue to fix it. The product itself is fine though, no complaints there. The key is to apply it smoothly along your skin texture. Even if you apply it messily, the brush on the back does such a great job that it's worth grabbing whenever you see it on sale. It works hard to even out your complexion! - gy*******Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinMay 4, 2021
This stick foundation glides on smoothly. It comes with a brush at the bottom, making application a breeze. The coverage is not particularly strong, so it's more of an average product. You need to apply it carefully to avoid pilling with your base products. - na**********Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 24, 2021
The stick format with an attached brush at the bottom makes it incredibly portable. It applies thinly and absorbs well into the skin. I'm unsure about its longevity. The coverage is slightly lacking, but it seems good for a light application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 6, 2020
I'm not usually a fan of stick foundations, but this one is exceptional! It doesn't apply thick or leave marks if you don't blend immediately. Instead, it glides on smoothly, blends effortlessly, and provides surprisingly good coverage. The staying power is absolutely fantastic! It's been great to use all year round! The stick format does mean it tends to collect dust, which can feel a bit unsanitary every time you use it. But don't worry, there's a solution to this drawback in the tip below! To use this product more hygienically, you can quickly wipe it with a tissue before application. This helps remove any dust that may have accumulated! - du*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 22, 2020
✓ Doesn't transfer after application I usually apply foundation with my fingers rather than a brush, but I still found brushes challenging. To get used to tools, I tried this stick foundation. It glides on smoothly, and using the brush on the end to blend removes any harsh lines. I love how quick and easy the makeup application is. ✓ Suitable even for acne-prone skin When my acne was worse, I used foundation to cover it. While I haven't tried many products, this one didn't cause any new breakouts. ✓ Recommended for those wanting light coverage! After using this product, I declared myself foundation-free and stopped wearing makeup to work and when meeting friends. I've always disliked the heavy feeling, and I thought a drastic change might help tackle my persistent acne. This stick format is great for light application. I gradually reduced the areas I applied it to, and people around me hardly noticed. It feels comfortable on the skin (though layering would make it feel heavier). ✓ Uses up faster than expected It wears down quickly! Seeing the product visibly decrease makes it seem like it's being used up rapidly. ✓ The brush needs frequent cleaning One of the causes of acne is unclean makeup tools. Why am I always so busy that I never have enough time for proper maintenance? - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2020
I used to use Estée Lauder foundation (cool undertone), but it emphasized my pores and looked patchy over time. After seeing a beauty YouTuber use this product, I switched to it. My complexion looks much brighter, and my skin appears smoother. Even after hours of wear, there's minimal pilling, which is great. However, the coverage isn't particularly high. Overall, I think it's good value for money. If you don't prep your skin well with skincare, it might not sit as nicely. Also, if you choose the wrong shade, you might end up with a floating or mismatched look. It applies beautifully whether you use the included brush or another foundation brush. - cr*******Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 25, 2020
I tried the Natural Beige shade, and it's definitely better than the melting sensation of traditional stick foundations. The brush feel is especially fantastic. Since it provides a natural coverage, it's not as high-coverage as some might like. Also, detaching the brush can be a bit challenging.
