Being a squeeze-out product, it's more hygienic than cushion foundations Unlike the UV cushion shade, Reboot makes my complexion look darker. It really lacks coverage and is too watery... I ended up using only 1/3 of it before switching back to my imported cushion foundation - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2023
I have warm undertones and use shade 23. The formula is so lightweight that it should work for both warm and cool tones. It brightens my complexion nicely and looks natural even when it oxidizes a bit. As someone with oily skin who uses blotting papers multiple times a day, large pores, and acne-prone skin, I regret only using matte foundations until now. Unlike some high-coverage foundations that can emphasize texture, this one doesn't accentuate dead skin cells on uneven areas, making my skin look better than ever. One layer gives a 'your skin but better' look, but amazingly, adding a second layer dramatically increases the coverage, concealing most blemishes. The pore-blurring effect is seriously impressive - I almost ran late admiring myself in the mirror! (To be fair, this might partly be because I've only used cushion compacts for years, so using a liquid foundation again feels novel. But even accounting for that, it's still excellent.) Fellow oily-skinned friends, don't be afraid to try this! Especially if you have a light complexion! It gives such a beautiful, clear skin look (and I have a deep undertone). I immediately understood the reviews complaining about the strong fragrance. Did they really need to add so much scent? That's why I'm deducting one star. This foundation works perfectly with the Skinfood wedge puff! I dot it on with my fingers, then blend with the puff. I use any excess product left on the puff to add an extra layer just on the center of my face for that Inner Glow. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 7, 2022
It's so moisturizing and makes my skin look absolutely beautiful! To be honest, I bought this to mix with my Chanel foundation because it was too matte, and I'm really satisfied. The shade is also a perfect match for my complexion! The only downside: the ingredients are not great at all... I think that's why I got some small blemishes. That's why I had to take off one star. - cr*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 7, 2022
It works well with tanned skin, which is why I decided to buy it. When I applied it, I found it to be similar to... Seems like there's no option for zero stars. After using it once, my skin completely broke out, so I've stopped using it altogether. I bought this expensive department store product, and I'm really angry about it... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2022
At first, you might be surprised by the lack of coverage, but if you keep layering it 2-3 times with a damp sponge, it builds up beautifully, providing both hydration and coverage! I noticed it only applies smoothly if you've done a thorough skincare routine beforehand. A good skincare prep is absolutely essential! - ha*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2021
I tried this 'reviving foundation' after hearing about it, and I loved it so much I bought it! It seems to work well for dry skin, with medium-low coverage. It's moisturizing, which is great for cold weather. When I used it in summer, I wasn't impressed, but now that winter's here, I'm really satisfied. For summer use, it might be too runny. If you tend to sweat a lot, you'll probably need to finish with powder. These days, I'm using it with a fixer or powder to prevent it from transferring to my mask. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2021
It's so hydrating! Usually, when I use foundation, I get deep dryness, but with this, there's none of that at all. The coverage is absolutely non-existent. Only people with perfect skin should use this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2020
As someone with large pores, scars, acne, and combination dehydrated skin, I've always relied on matte, heavy foundations. Switching to Reboot's lightweight, hydrating base is a game-changer! It feels so refreshing. The only downside is that due to its thin consistency, you tend to use more product than usual. For best results, I recommend using a sponge instead of a brush to apply and build coverage (a tip from a YouTuber). Pair it with Wake Make or Marubi concealer for spot coverage, and you'll achieve a beautiful, lightweight finish that covers well. - tc******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 25, 2020
As my first foundation, I'm quite pleased with the final result! The application feels great, and it seems to adhere well to the skin. I initially applied it with a brush, but using a puff works just as effectively! The staying power isn't bad either. My main priority was finding something that looks natural - that 'no-makeup makeup' look. After exploring various brands and trying them on, this one felt the least heavy and most natural. The application experience was the best, which is why I chose it! The coverage is definitely on the lighter side, unfortunately. While one application does make your skin look cleaner and more even, it doesn't effectively conceal blemishes or acne. Also, this might just be me, but after application, I feel like there's a slightly yellowish tint to it, which isn't ideal. - my*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedMar 30, 2020
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've always stuck to matte foundations. But Reboot completely changed my perception of dewy foundations! I've tried almost all the high-end department store foundations in the rankings, but I can confidently say this one takes the crown for skin appearance! The formula is truly remarkable - it feels like I've only applied skincare even though I'm wearing foundation. It's incredibly lightweight on the face! Unlike matte foundations, there's no heavy, cakey feeling. Instead, it evens out my skin tone while letting a bit of my natural skin peek through, creating a subtle glow. I never thought my skin could look like this - it's a whole new world! Plus, it applies thinly and adheres well, so it doesn't transfer onto masks as much. I always thought matte was the way to go for less transfer, but I was wrong! For such a hydrating formula, the staying power is impressive - it lasts well into the evening! My skin tone is an awkward 22, so Y218 and R230 are too light, while the next shades down, Y225 and R233, are too dark. Additionally, the Y shade is too yellow and the R shade is too pink! But I can't give up on Reboot's amazing skin finish, so I bought both and mix them... Applying with a brush gives a dewy finish, while using a puff creates a thin, skin-like adherence. My personal favorite combination is using it with a damp Innisfree Mochi Blender!
