Cons- It doesn't lift, but since it has moisture, the oiliness increases over time compared to a matte product. - It applies well but has light coverage. (However, this can be both a drawback and an advantage as it allows for a natural-looking makeup application, similar to using a whitening cream or sunscreen.)
TipSince I have oily skin, I looked around and heard that the Make Up For Ever foundation is also famous. I bought a matte product but it didn't suit me, so I'm currently using a different one. I'm considering just purchasing this product. It's a great fit for those with dry skin or who experience lifting. However, the coverage is light, so keep that in mind when purchasing.

I have a lot of acne scars on my cheeks, and I still get occasional breakouts around my jawline depending on my hormonal cycle. Due to the acne scars, my skin texture is not great, so I put on makeup! Matte and high-coverage foundations actually don't suit me very well. ---------- I've been using Make Up For Ever foundations for almost 10 years, and they're especially great for my skin type that's prone to flakiness. The hydrating yet seamless finish of the foundations works perfectly for me. I was heartbroken when they discontinued the Face & Body line and now the Liquid Lift, but I've found a great replacement in the Reboot foundation. It applies so smoothly and hydratingly, almost like an essence! Reboot is said to work best with a brush, but I find that I can easily apply it with my fingers too. It's a wonderful product that doesn't require tools. Even in dry, flaky conditions, the hydrating formula seems to 'melt' the flakes away. I always carry a small bottle of it for touch-ups. It never cakes up or looks patchy when I reapply, and it doesn't emphasize any breakdown or darkening throughout the day.
ConsNone! Please, Make Up For Ever, don't discontinue any more of your hydrating, low-coverage foundations! They're forever! The trade-off between coverage and hydration/lightweight is both a pro and a con, so if you prefer foundations with high coverage and a mattifying, long-wearing finish, you're better off not even trying these.
TipOn days when my skin is in good condition and I want a more 'blotted' finish, I like to apply the foundation and then lightly dust over it with a powder. I've been using this Make Up For Ever foundation + no-sebum powder combo for years, and it's especially great for those with bangs. If you do powder over the foundation, be careful when touching up - it can look a bit cakey if you just layer more product on top. It's better to lightly blot and reapply a bit of hydrating base before doing any touch-ups.

It's a great foundation to wear on important occasions or when you're unsure of what to use. Applying it is easy - I just dab it on with my fingers and then lightly pat it in with a sponge. I really love it! Highly recommend it!🙆🏻♀️
ConsHmm... I couldn't really find any downsides while using it. Since it's not matte, it might be a good fit for those who prefer a texture between dewy and matte. Oh, and the coverage isn't super high, so it would be great for those who like a more natural skin finish.
TipThis product applies beautifully even with just a basic skincare routine - it makes your skin look flawless, like a perfectly cooked egg. It provides just the right amount of coverage to even out your complexion, and the finish is natural and glowy without needing any powder.
