My number one winter foundation..! I used it when I was young and then forgot about it.. My friend's skin expression was so pretty that I asked about it, and it was this product.. The color as well as the fact that it's perfect for dry or combination skin types in the winter! Even those who don't do makeup well will look beautifully radiant just by slapping it on!
Cons
The only downside is the price.. But otherwise, it's great! It's a top pick for winter - it's moisturizing and has just a slight bit of cakiness. The coverage isn't extremely heavy, but it's not bad either!
Tip
Even in the dead of winter, you can achieve a radiant complexion all day long by maintaining a solid skincare routine! If the coverage seems lacking, just apply another light layer.

It's moisturizing and feels comfortable on the skin. The natural, luminous skin expression with a clear, radiant glow is really beautiful, as if my skin was originally good.

Pros
My skin doesn't break out and it's so moisturized. I don't even use a basic skincare routine, and just applying this product makes my skin incredibly hydrated ㅋㅋ꙼̈ It creates a natural-looking skin finish. And the beautiful glow that comes up over time looks so nice! I actually like the look after 3-4 hours of application better than right after applying. There's also less transfer onto my mask.
Cons
The coverage is quite low! If you want more coverage, you'll need to use a concealer. And you have to be mindful of your skincare routine - since this is already a moisturizing product, using an overly oily basic skincare product will cause the makeup to break down quickly, giving you an undesirable greasy look rather than a nice glow. + There's also a bit of darkening.

How you do your basic skincare routine really affects how the makeup turns out each time. Sometimes when I used a more moisturizing basic routine and an oily sunscreen, the makeup would peel off quickly... Pros
This is a truly amazing foundation. I went out and came back, and I was so tired that I didn't even remove my makeup and slept for three hours straight, but it didn't budge at all. It's incredibly moisturizing and has amazing spreadability, but it doesn't get greasy at all. I think it's a glow expression + a glossy degree. It's good to use in the transitional season~winter. I use the Y218 color, and it was just right for me who wants a little bit of brightness. My skin has a yellowish and reddish tone, and it's not extremely bright, but if I use 18, it's too bright, and if I use 21, it gets a little darker or the same as my skin tone, but this one brightens it just right. As a side note, the Maepo foundation is still the best fit for me. I used to use the Liquid Lift well, but I wanted to try something else, so I went through all the famous foundations and ended up with Maepo. Other famous foundations are all good, but in terms of my skin condition, color, spreadability, and skin expression, Maepo is the only one that fits me perfectly.

I highly recommend this department store foundation for beginners. It's great for those looking for light, moisturizing coverage with a beautiful skin-like finish. In the summer, it gives a lovely glow, and in the current winter weather, it has a semi-matte finish.

Pros
I've been using the Makeup Forever foundation for 4 years now. After trying the Ultra HD foundation and then switching to the Reboot, I find that the Reboot has more moisture and applies nicely to create a dewy, luminous look, which is great for doing a glowy makeup look!
Cons
The only downside is the coverage 😢 Since I tend to do a lighter base, I find the coverage a bit lacking compared to the Ultra HD, but it's still pretty good!
Tip
So I like to use a concealer to spot-cover afterwards (I'm sure many others do the same!). But despite this, I plan to repurchase this foundation again next time!

I tried the Y218 sample that I got from Maepo. I hoped it would be similar to the Life Palette, which was my holy grail. But it's a bit different. 1. It's true that it applies thinly and is moisturizing, but the Life Palette was completely watery, and it felt like water was gushing out even after application. The Reboot, on the other hand, has slightly better coverage than the Life Palette (though just a bit) and is less watery. And it has a radiant glow! It's more moisturizing than the Bobbi Brown Serum Foundation. I think it would be great to use in the fall and winter. 2. The color, around shade 19, was almost indistinguishable from my skin tone, which I really liked. I prefer colors that are closest to my own skin tone. I don't really like base products that are a shade lighter. If you have a lighter skin tone than 21, you might need to use a lighter shade. 3. The best way to apply it is with a flat brush to spread it thinly, and then pat it with a damp sponge. For example, something like the MAC 191 brush. I'm planning to buy the full-size product! 4. If you're not concerned about coverage and just want something moisturizing and natural-looking, this would be perfect for you.
Cons
The longevity might be an issue if you have oily skin. It doesn't exactly 'break down,' but more like 'disappears' - after about 6 hours, it was almost completely gone.

I have a slightly reddish skin tone with a porous skin texture. I prefer a glowing, moisturized makeup look as matte foundations make my skin appear dull and unflattering.
