  As someone with extremely dry skin prone to milia, redness, and occasional painful, stubborn blemishes that wouldn't respond to any treatment, I have super sensitive skin that's both dry and reactive. By chance, I received a sample of the Tata Harper Purifying Foam Cleanser and tried it using the '5-skin method'. Immediately, I felt an intense hydration and firmness. The next morning, my skin texture was noticeably smoother, and the redness had almost disappeared. After using the remaining sample for a few more days, I noticed that the persistent milia and redness I'd always dealt with stopped appearing. I promptly ordered the full-size toner and have been using it consistently ever since. Despite its high price, the immediate effects I experienced make it my absolute favorite, go-to toner now!

  For my dry and sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any issues so far, but it's a bit disappointing that the ingredients aren't entirely gentle.

  Pros

  I bought the 1000ml size and have been decanting it for use. The large volume means it lasts for ages! When I use it with a cotton pad, it creates a rich, creamy lather that cleanses without irritation - I absolutely love it! Also, when I soak a cotton pad with this toner and apply it to areas where my skin looks red or where I feel a blemish might be forming, it calms down quickly.

  Cons

  It's difficult to find in regular offline stores and the price is quite steep.

  Tip

  It's better to use a damp cotton pad rather than a dry one when cleansing your skin with this toner!

  After seeing an ad for Tala and trying it for the first time, I was impressed by its pleasant scent and rich texture. The foam toner also had a nice application feel.

  Cons

  Since I'm prone to visible pores, it made my blackheads more noticeable and unsightly. Checking Hwahae, I saw it had a high comedogenic rating. I'm so disappointed that I've stopped using it now.

  I'll explain why Gras doesn't have any categories here: 1. It's fascinating and fun to apply this foam toner. You don't need to shake it - just dispense it into the foaming container and press to get instant foam. 2. It's incredibly hydrating! I think it might be the most moisturizing toner I've ever used. After applying the foam and letting it settle, I gently pat it in for absorption. The result is a plump and hydrated feel! While some say Marineor is the most hydrating, I'm completely satisfied with this product alone. 3. I also noticed a slight cooling effect. I believe I read somewhere that Gras, being for acne-prone and oily skin, doesn't contain alcohol. Though the ingredients aren't listed on Hwahae, that's how it felt when I used it! 4. The scent is a bit artificial, but it reminds me of a spa fragrance, which makes me feel like I'm giving myself a professional treatment.

  Cons

  1. As expected, it's the ingredients... While it's not exactly the same product, looking at other foam toners like Sensibio and Marineor makes me worry that Gras might also have some not-so-great ingredients. That's disappointing. This is my only concern... I like how the product performs, but I'd be sad if the good effects I'm experiencing are just an illusion caused by potentially harmful ingredients. I'll probably use up what I have left but won't repurchase.

  To use, dispense the foam directly onto your face and spread it thinly like a mask. Once the foam starts to disappear, gently pat it in for absorption. This leaves your skin feeling plump and hydrated. My blemishes have been coming and going, so it's unclear if this product is the reason.
