- The neutral shade makes it perfect as a base eyeshadow - Complements warm skin tones beautifully, with a moderate color payoff - The staying power isn't particularly long-lasting, possibly due to the slightly lighter shade Apply it all over the eyelid with a brush for best results - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSep 19, 2020
I bought this as a base color and I'm quite pleased with it. The shade is pretty and generally nice. I compared it to a coconut at the beach - the top is Baseurak Baseurak and the bottom is the coconut. They're similar, but Baseurak is a bit more reddish. The only downside might be the ingredients... But compared to other eyeshadows, it still seems pretty good. It looks prettier when applied with a Daiso bullet brush rather than your fingers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 10, 2020
I always trust Etude eyeshadows! This shade is perfect for autumn~ The powder doesn't have much excess fallout and the color payoff is great! There wasn't really anything disappointing! Though the packaging might be a bit fragile. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2020
It's perfect as a base layer, and the color is beautifully subtle and versatile. It's fine when applied with fingers, but when using a brush, there's a bit of excess powder that flies around. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 17, 2020
I absolutely love it! I'm using it as a blush, and the color payoff is fantastic. It's so pretty! There's a bit of excess powder fallout, but other than that, it's really great! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 21, 2020
What I loved about this product is how beautiful the color payoff is! When you apply it as a base in autumn, then layer on other eyeshadows, it creates such a stunning look. It's impossible for it not to be gorgeous! The downside is there's a bit of excess fallout. However, I can forgive that because the color is so pretty. Other than that, I didn't really notice anything else particularly negative. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2020
This is the perfect brown shade for everyday use. It's my go-to eyeshadow when doing my eye makeup. The color is a light brown with just a hint of red undertone. However, it's less reddish and lighter compared to other shadows in the Maple Road line. This makes it an excellent base color, and it shows up nicely when applied to the eyelids. The subtle red tone also means it could potentially work as a contour shade. It's ideal as a base, and you can layer darker shadows on top for dimension. There's minimal excess powder, and it doesn't crease in the eyelid folds even after hours of wear. The packaging has a lovely autumnal vibe too. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. There's hardly anything to complain about... Etude House eyeshadows are now my trusted go-to! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 19, 2019
I thought it was a light clay color at first glance, but when applied to the eyes, it's a beautiful orange hue that's stunning even when worn alone. The color is gorgeous, giving off a unique and atmospheric vibe. As a base, it has a strong presence and blends well with other point colors. However, it can stand out as a point color on its own. Even after applying VDL eye primer, the color fades on the crease after a while. The eyeline itself has some excess powder. It's easy to apply, perfect for days when touch-ups are possible.
