My favorite eyeshadow for autumn It's like the color of ginkgo leaves dried for two months Great as a base, and even with just one swipe, it creates a beautiful depth I love that it's not boring when worn alone It gives off a mysterious vibe and exudes autumn vibes The only downside is that it's no longer available. But Etude House releases new products every year, so I'm not too disappointed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 12, 2020
When I first started wearing makeup, I bought a pink eyeshadow that was a disaster. This brown shade was my second eyeshadow purchase. That's when I realized, 'Ah, I should be using brown tones!' From then on, I started using brown palettes. Back then, I preferred matte shades, but now I find shimmery ones so beautiful. I regret only buying this single color... Still, I'm using it along with other palettes! Don't just buy this color alone. Get it with other complementary shades. I really mean it! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2020
This is the perfect brown shade for everyday use. It's my go-to eyeshadow when doing my eye makeup. The color is a light brown with just a hint of red undertone. However, it's less reddish and lighter compared to other shadows in the Maple Road line. This makes it an excellent base color, and it shows up nicely when applied to the eyelids. The subtle red tone also means it could potentially work as a contour shade. It's ideal as a base, and you can layer darker shadows on top for dimension. There's minimal excess powder, and it doesn't crease in the eyelid folds even after hours of wear. The packaging has a lovely autumnal vibe too. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. There's hardly anything to complain about... Etude House eyeshadows are now my trusted go-to! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2020
The color was great for adding depth and dimension. It seems suitable for those with oily skin. The shade is a warm orangey-brown! It felt similar to the 'Coconut' color from Etude's Beach collection. Of course, when swatched on the hand, there's a difference, and this one has more of an orange undertone. However, when applied side by side on the eyelids, there wasn't a noticeable difference between this shadow and the Coconut shadow. Perhaps that's why I don't find myself reaching for this eyeshadow very often. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 19, 2019
Released as a fall collection, these shades are perfect to start using right now. First off, I love that despite being matte, all products apply with a shimmery finish, without any clumping or excess powder. I've separated the first and second photos to distinguish between shimmery shades and matte contouring colors. Let me tell you about the shimmery ones - Healing Drive, Crunchy Autumn Leaves, and Brick Maple. Healing Drive is a rose beige base with holographic shimmer that complements the complexion beautifully, making it a daily go-to and highly recommended shade. Crunchy Autumn Leaves is a brown with a hint of red. The pearls show mostly yellow gold and rose gold, making it stunning on the eyes. It has more visible shimmer compared to others. Brick Maple is a berry-toned brown, perfect for those who love berry shades. For matte contouring colors, we have Rustling Leaves, Autumn Sunset, Acorn Gathering, and Dried Maple. Rustling Leaves is my daily base for all eye looks. It's great for laying down a base as it has no redness. Highly recommend if you're looking for a versatile base shade! Autumn Sunset is a reddish-brown that's easy to use. Acorn Gathering is like Autumn Sunset minus the redness - I use this more often. Dried Maple, despite its redness, has become indispensable for adding depth to my outer corners. Overall, they've nailed the fall colors so well that I'll likely use this more than palettes until early winter. The improved formula with less fallout is a big plus. The shimmer-infused shades like Brick Maple and Crunchy Autumn Leaves have slightly larger glitter particles, so some shimmer fallout was unavoidable. I highly recommend using the Maple Road shades together as they complement each other beautifully. Especially Healing Drive, Crunchy Autumn Leaves, and Acorn Gathering have become indispensable in my eye makeup routine.
