The color is so intense that it feels a bit overwhelming for someone like me with a deep undertone, so I don't reach for it often.

It's an incredibly vibrant red. I apply it occasionally when I'm in the mood for a bold red lip. It has a slightly matte finish.

Personally, as I don't use this tint exclusively, when applied directly to the lips, the color tends to last a while. However, when applied straight to the lips, it leaves a slightly pinkish tint that lingers.

▫️Application: Being a tint, it's definitely easy to apply. The applicator is soft yet firm, so it doesn't flick product to the sides.

The color is so intense that one swipe is enough unless you're going for a full lip look. Blot the edges with a tissue for a more natural finish.

When applied to dry lips, it emphasizes dead skin cells even more. A lip balm is essential before application.

The color payoff is intense and long-lasting, making it perfect for mask-wearing days! However, it's more of a cool-toned cherry red rather than a classic red. The staining effect has a pinkish tint, so be mindful of that. I usually don't suit pink shades, but this one is like a red with a drop of cherry, which isn't bad for occasional wear. For the best look, I'd recommend a slightly lighter base makeup than usual and toning down the eye makeup.

While the texture feels nice when applying and blending, once it sets, it looks slightly plasticky. It accentuates lip lines quite noticeably. When applied as a full lip, the border becomes particularly pronounced, which isn't flattering.

The matte finish and vibrant color are impressive. It's close to a classic red, but without feeling too cool-toned.

While the price is a bit steep, which is a shame, I'm satisfied because the performance is excellent.

As someone diagnosed with a Light Summer Cool tone (13-17 range), I can confidently say this vibrant red color is truly worthy of the Chanel name. It's perfect as a lip accent and I believe it would flatter both warm and cool undertones. The design, fragrance, longevity, and shade... everything about it is simply delightful.

Due to its quick-drying nature, it becomes challenging to touch up. Applying a generous amount of lip balm beforehand makes it more manageable, but it's not a formula I'd be eager to repurchase.

It dries too quickly, making touch-ups difficult. The color isn't a true red as it appears; when applied, it turns into a mix of pink and purple, with purple being more dominant. It tends to stain teeth easily. The way it fades on the lips isn't attractive, as it turns everything pink, and reapplication results in a different color.

The color payoff is true to what you see in the tube. It has a thin, oil-like consistency that feels like applying a tint. It sets quickly on the lips.
