It's an incredibly vibrant red. I apply it occasionally when I'm in the mood for a bold red lip. It has a slightly matte finish. ▫️Packaging: The Chanel logo on the cap is gorgeous, and the container is sturdy, preventing leaks or breakage - very practical. ▫️Color: The versatile shade makes it easy to layer on the inner part of the lips. ▫️Longevity: As I typically apply it as an inner lip layer for a pop of color, it lasts quite well. ▫️Application: Being a tint, it's definitely easy to apply. The applicator is soft yet firm, so it doesn't flick product to the sides. Personally, as I don't use this tint exclusively, when applied directly to the lips, the color tends to last a while. However, when applied straight to the lips, it leaves a slightly pinkish tint that lingers.

However, it's more of a cool-toned cherry red rather than a classic red. The staining effect has a pinkish tint, so be mindful of that. I usually don't suit pink shades, but this one is like a red with a drop of cherry, which isn't bad for occasional wear. For the best look, I'd recommend a slightly lighter base makeup than usual and toning down the eye makeup. When applied to dry lips, it emphasizes dead skin cells even more. A lip balm is essential before application. The color is so intense that one swipe is enough unless you're going for a full lip look. The matte finish and vibrant color are impressive. It's close to a classic red, but without feeling too cool-toned. While the texture feels nice when applying and blending, once it sets, it looks slightly plasticky. It accentuates lip lines quite noticeably. The color payoff is truly amazing, appearing on your lips exactly as you see it. Plus, you can control the intensity, allowing for a sheer application if desired. The color payoff is great and it's perfect for everyday wear. The packaging is also really pretty. When your lips are in poor condition, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells quite noticeably.

It applies so smoothly that if you have any dead skin cells or even slightly chapped lips, you can't apply it properly. It feels quite drying when applied... And if you accidentally apply a bit too much, you get that dreaded 'caught a mouse' look... The color is absolutely gorgeous and the staying power is pretty decent. The adherence, if that's what you'd call it, seems good too. I've only used it in winter, but it doesn't feel too drying for this time of year. Unfortunately, it does transfer a bit. When it fades, it tends to do so unevenly, which isn't very attractive. It looked so beautiful when I first applied it though... The color changes a bit when you try to create a gradient effect. It's not exactly a pink stain, but you need to apply it carefully because of this. If red lipstick suits you well, I think this would look great regardless of whether you're a spring or cool tone.

It's perfect as a lip accent and I believe it would flatter both warm and cool undertones. The design, fragrance, longevity, and shade... everything about it is simply delightful. The price point is quite steep... However, it's Chanel, and the quality justifies the cost, which is why I decided to purchase it.
