After trying it out, I found it's a salmon-colored lipstick with a strong white undertone. It tends to settle into lip lines quite noticeably. When used alone, it can make you look washed out, so it's best used as a base color only. - tn*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 25, 2024
The color is absolutely gorgeous! I was diagnosed with a light tone and deep undertone, and I find that when I pat this on gently instead of rubbing, it seems to suit me perfectly. It tends to settle into lip lines. I'm also worried about it melting if I carry it around in the summer. - ja***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 26, 2024
It's a gorgeous salmon-colored lip product. The vibrant, luminous shade really pops, especially when applied after evening out your skin tone. It's absolutely stunning! I remember when this was in the $20 range during MAC sales. When did the price jump so much? - jj*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJun 6, 2024
It absorbs well and feels soft, so you can use it without emphasizing dead skin cells The color is light, so it might be good to use as a base lip product - eo*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 4, 2024
A bright coral with a luminous white base. It's absolutely stunning on those with deep undertones that complement the white base... It's quite thick, which can accentuate fine lines. You need to prep your lips well before application. - da********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedAug 7, 2023
Don't apply it alone. First, put on a moisturizing lipstick, then use this as an accent on top. You'll achieve a stunning, out-of-this-world salmon lip look without emphasizing dead skin cells. It's not ideal to wear on its own. You must apply a hydrating lipstick first to prevent it from flaking. Rather than using it as a base, apply a light, moisturizing lip product first, then dab this in the center as an accent. Chanel Rouge Coco Baume Flash 60 + Sushi Kiss is a perfect combo for a fresh salmon lip look. On the upper wrist (Rouge Coco Baume Flash) 60 has an orange tint. On the lower wrist is Sushi Kiss. Chanel L'Extrait 182 + Sushi Kiss creates a nude-toned salmon lip. - do*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2023
The color was really pretty. It's a famous La Boum item, and I bought it when I believed in the La Boum hype. I think it might work for muted tones too, though it doesn't quite reach a full MLBB shade. The texture is like a crayon. If your lips aren't in good condition, it really emphasizes dead skin cells, as you can see in the photo. If you're not going for the La Boum look, instead of applying it as a full lip color, try using it for a gradient effect or as a base lip color. - sm**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedMar 3, 2022
Color and pigmentation: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I was skeptical about whether this shade would suit me, but I took a chance and bought it. To my surprise, I've found my holy grail lipstick! Not all coral lipsticks are created equal, and this one stands out. Everyone compliments me when I wear it, saying how pretty it looks. Even though I don't have particularly fair skin, it seems to be a perfect match for me. My absolute favorite is A36. I also purchased Sushi Kiss AA6 when it became available. Comparing the two, A36 has a pinkish coral tone, while AA6 leans more towards an orange-tinted coral. When applied, the lipstick makes my lips appear slightly plumper and more noticeable, which is surprisingly attractive. There's a subtle difference: A36 gives my face a brighter appearance, while AA6 doesn't have quite the same effect. Looking at Sushi Kiss A36 in the tube, it might seem a bit dull, but once applied, it creates a dramatic effect on both the lips and face. Despite its soft color, it's one of my favorites. In the photo, A36 is on the left and AA6 is on the right. This detailed color review is for fellow Sushi Kiss fans like myself. Product name labeling: ⚠️ Even though the names are the same, the colors are distinctly different. It would be helpful to have more precise labeling when selling these products. - sy*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 18, 2021
- A truly rare find in today's world - a high-brightness lipstick! If you have a deep undertone and light skin, it's versatile enough to be worn alone or as a base lip color. - Like all MAC lipsticks, the quality isn't great. - It's very dependent on lip condition. You need to have really good lips to apply it well. If your lips are even slightly dry, it clumps and becomes patchy.... - as****Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedOct 16, 2021
Deep undertone beauties? Get this right now! I highly recommend it for those with deep undertones who look great in high-brightness shades. The texture isn't powdery, so it feels wonderfully moisturizing on the skin. The downside? It's a bit pricey. Unfortunately, you can't find this shade in regular cosmetic stores, so there's no budget-friendly alternative available.
