Pros
The product can be applied sparingly, which is great. As it's a pump product, it's also easy to use.

Considering the price, it was a bit of a disappointment. I'm not sure if the same applies to their other lotions, but the amount I used (about the size of my index finger's tip) wasn't enough. It didn't quite address the dryness. I currently don't use a toner, and after applying this, I felt some irritation (on the second day).

Pros
It feels refreshing when applied. There is no stickiness or oiliness when applied to the face. It seems to have very little oil and a lot of moisture. I also feel that the product is gentle. I didn't experience any trouble at all.
Cons
I bought this product thinking it would help with my dry skin, but when I apply it to my face, it feels too tight and I can't use it at all. I'm a typical dry-skinned person, and I'm using a serum for dry skin too, but my face feels even tighter when I use this lotion instead of just the serum... The lotion doesn't serve any purpose. And the pump packaging is really cheap. It may be a defective one I received, but something doesn't fit right and it's really hard to press down.
Tip
The reviews of others suggest applying an oil or cream on top to help with the dryness. But I don't want to add more steps to my skincare routine.

✔️My skin type Combination (dry and oily, with severe inner dryness but increased sebum production over time), highly sensitive, enlarged pores, prone to redness, acne bumps, and overall redness when skin is irritated! ✔️Ingredients that don't suit me After trying various products over the years, while I can't say for certain, I find that basic skincare lines containing centella and cica, as well as tea tree and shea butter (which causes an oil explosion and acne outbreak for me) don't work well for me. The centella line makes my face feel hot and flushed, and sometimes itchy and stinging! ✔️Review of Keep Cool Lotion I bought and used this product with my own money. It's great! It doesn't irritate my extremely sensitive skin at all, and I had no adverse reactions. It provides sufficient moisture (though not as intensely hydrating as an essence). I had been using the Sidmool Cica line for a long time without any issues, but I wanted to try something new, so I started using the Keep Cool Lotion. Honestly, I can't say which one is better - they're both great gentle lotions that I'd recommend! But lately, I've been gravitating more towards the Keep Cool Lotion. 😆

The only downside is that it doesn't provide the same deeply hydrating effect as a moisture-boosting essence. At night, I apply my routine in the order of toner - essence - Keep Cool Lotion - cream. In the morning, it's toner - Keep Cool Lotion - cream, then I apply my makeup. A helpful tip would be to choose a good hydrating essence to really plump up the skin from within, then follow up with the lotion and a slightly richer cream to seal it all in. Personally, in the winter, I use the Sidmool The Simple Cica Balm as my final cream step. ✔️ Photo description I naturally have acne scars, uneven texture, and redness in my skin. My complexion tends to fluctuate a lot based on my environment, season changes, and hormonal cycles - it gets really bad and then improves again. Lately, I've been using the Keep Cool Lotion along with The Lab by Blanc Derm's Hydrating Ampoule, but the dryness isn't completely gone yet. The products haven't fully calmed my breakouts either, but this is the current state of my skin. I've been using the Keep Cool Lotion since February 18th. The photo was taken right after cleansing.

It's gentle, absorbs quickly, has a generous amount, and is affordable. Plus, the packaging is pretty, the ingredients are good, and it's fragrance-free.

It's a fast-absorbing lotion. Lately, even just applying the toner doesn't dry out my skin, but after applying this lotion on top, my face feels so dry that I want to dunk it in water. ^.^ They said this alone wouldn't dry out my skin, but why does it keep drying out no matter how many layers I apply? Ugh, I'm writing this review in agony. I should have just stuck with my usual Make Prem cream.

My skin has become extremely sensitive over the past few years, so even if I use something that doesn't quite suit me, it immediately gets irritated, and I end up with clogged pores and red acne. Sometimes, when it gets irritated, my face feels so hot that whatever I apply just seems to disappear, and it starts cracking. The dermatologist even said that the key is to eat well and get enough rest, as my skin just can't seem to settle down. However, with this product, I didn't experience any breakouts or adverse reactions when I applied it. It seems quite gentle! It doesn't sting at all when I apply it, and it glides on smoothly and evenly.
Cons
This is the reason I'm leaving a review. It's too dry, especially in the winter. It says it has 7-layer moisturizing, but it's not that moisturizing. I wonder if it would be different in the summer. Usually, one layer isn't enough, so I apply at least three layers, but even then, my face feels dry and tight when I wake up. I have to carry a separate moisturizer with me when I go out. I'm usually careful about using anything too oily, as it tends to cause breakouts, but this is just too drying. If you have dry skin, I'd recommend adding an extra moisturizing cream on top or trying it in the summer.

But in the winter, my interior gets too dry, so I decided to try adding a lotion. I don't prefer heavy, oily lotions for my skin type, and the bamboo lotion applied lightly and felt great. ✨Absorbs well Dry-skinned people tend to prefer occlusive formulas that seal in moisture, but for my skin type which is dry inside and oily outside, I prefer formulas that absorb well. Immediate Cooling Sensation I have a very hot face, and my face turns red quickly even after washing. But when I apply this lotion, my face instantly feels so cool and the redness is also soothed.☺️ (It's almost fragrance-free!) 2. Skin Soothing This product is not specifically for acne, but for someone like me with really sensitive, thin, and reddish skin, it thoroughly soothes and moisturizes my whole face. That's why the frequency and size of my acne breakouts have decreased. The ingredient combination is just amazing!! 3. Baby-Soft Skin Texture What surprised me the most was that after using this lotion, my skin texture became so smooth, like touching a baby's bottom... When I splash water on my face to wash it, the moment I touch my skin, it feels so soft and smooth. I think this is the result of the excellent ingredient combination that Keek Cool has created.

😌 It's not extremely moisturizing. As someone with combination skin that's prone to dryness, when I apply this lotion and then go out in the cold or use a heater, I feel a slight tightness. So this product alone may not provide deep hydration. That's why I layer it with other products. Haha But for dry skin types, you can just add a protective cream layer after this lotion, and that should be sufficient!
Tip
This has a slightly watery formula, so sometimes when my skin is extremely irritated and red, I soak a cotton pad with the lotion and use it as a sheet mask. That way, the soothing effect is much faster and better. It's also great for dry skin.😁

I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and received this lotion! To be honest, my skin has been getting too dry as the fall and winter seasons approached, and I was about to purchase a new lotion. But I was so happy when I was selected and got to try this one!!!!!!!!!! And that's the only good thing about it........haha... Ah!..It was gentle, which was good! It's fragrance-free and the texture is moist and watery!! The Hwahae Trial Reviewer panel has approved me. In the evening, I cleansed my face, wiped it with the Dokdo toner, and immediately applied the Keep Cool Bamboo Lotion. The product feels moisturizing and lightweight. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness. I think people who like lightweight formulas will enjoy this. Since I have dry skin, I applied it once, let it absorb, and then applied it one more time. However, it still felt a bit lacking for me, so I added my usual cream on top. For those with dry skin, this might not be enough moisturization, especially during seasonal changes and winter. The fragrance is truly unscented. There is no noticeable scent at all. I personally enjoyed the fragrance-free aspect.

After applying the product, after some time had passed, I started to feel heat and flushing on my T-zone and cheeks. When I looked in the mirror, there was redness. It also felt burning. Since I haven't changed any other skincare products, it seems to be due to this lotion. I thought it would help with my internal dryness, but later, my face and forehead started to feel tight. It doesn't seem to be addressing my internal dryness. I'm not sure if the heat reaction and tightness are because the product doesn't suit my skin or if it's just not addressing the internal dryness.
