Pros

The texture was just my style!! It felt like applying a nicely runny essence? I felt like my skin texture and uneven areas improved a bit too!! The texture and moisturizing properties were quite pleasing to me.... As someone with dry skin, I didn't really notice any dryness! I think those who match well with the Keepcool line would definitely want to give it a try!!

I used to only have localized acne on the lower parts of my cheeks, but when I used this product, small bumps started popping up on the middle parts of my face on both sides, which I had never seen before.... I thought it would just come and go, but as I used up the whole bottle, it kept coming up little by little... 🥲 I guess my face is sensitive to different ingredients in different areas, which is kind of funny.... It was a product I had liked, but I ended up giving up on repurchasing it because the small bumps kept recurring. It might be that the ingredients didn't suit me, but I also wonder if I couldn't get the oil-moisture balance right at the time? So I'm thinking of trying it again with a different routine!

Keep it in the fridge and use it - the slight lotion scent is so soothing....

Pros
I purchased it around the end of March. My skin was already quite sensitive, but when I'm under stress or my immunity is low, my skin becomes extremely sensitive. This lotion was reasonably priced and good to use. It's similar to a runny consistency and has a pump dispenser, which was convenient.
Cons
When I first used it, there was no stinging, redness, or burning sensation. But on days when my skin was a bit more sensitive, there was redness. And on my worst days, there was redness and burning. :( It's been like that even yesterday and today... I had to quickly wash my face and just apply the cream. I'm not sure which ingredient caused this. I wouldn't recommend this to those of you who also have sensitive skin that easily becomes irritated due to low immunity, stress, or fatigue, like me.

It's a decent lotion...It absorbs well...I'm not sure what the disappointing aspects were, since the positive points are unclear to me.
Cons
I bought this lotion because I heard it had good ingredients for sensitive skin, but when I apply it, my face keeps turning red the next day and I get pimples or hives. And right after applying it, it's moisturizing, but a few hours later it feels dry and rough. I checked the ingredient list on Hwahae and saw there's one bad ingredient in it. I guess it just goes to show that good and bad ingredients can affect people differently.

#Acne, my skin is close to oily combination. I have extremely dry forehead and cheeks, but my T-zone is very oily, so I work incredibly hard to balance the moisture and oil. I applied for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program as soon as I discovered it, wanting to add more hydration to my routine. I've been using bamboo-containing masks regularly, so I was quite pleased to see the ingredients in this lotion. As soon as I received it, I tested it on my hands and neck, and felt a cooling sensation when applied. It didn't last very long, but I think using it straight from the refrigerator would prolong that cooling effect. I started applying it to my face the next day. At first, I just used the lotion alone to see how it would work, and slept with just that. When I only used the lotion, it didn't quite address the dryness, and my oily areas were still quite oily, so I started applying a hydrating ampoule first, then this lotion to finish. This seemed to balance it out well! I continued this routine of ampoule followed by this lotion for almost a week, and the moisture-oil balance felt just right. ☆☆☆ 3 stars Good ingredients, slight cooling sensation, seems suitable for combination-leaning-oily skin, may also work for dry skin. The texture was nice, not sticky (though not completely weightless either).

As I mentioned, the balance was working well, but then I started breaking out. I think it was due to the coconut oil causing excess oil production. Also, one pump dispenses quite a lot of product. One half-pump is enough to cover my entire face. I would recommend this for dry to combination skin types!
