I received this from a friend and I'm using it. Even though I have dry and super sensitive skin, it's working great for me! If I had to point out one thing, it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a spatula for hygiene reasons.

Of course, those who dislike jar-type containers might not find this appealing. However, given its rich texture, I think a jar is more suitable than a tube type. As the name suggests, it's truly a deep cream. I usually have dry skin, so I'm in the habit of applying cream generously. When I slathered it on as usual, it started to pill and clump a bit - typical of heavier creams. This shouldn't be an issue if you control the amount well. With its balance of oil and moisture, it seems perfect for harsh winters. It feels slightly heavy for summer, but as I have very dry skin, I actually like this feeling. I think it would work well under makeup without pilling (as long as you apply the right amount). Despite being fragrance-free, it has a scent reminiscent of old-fashioned cosmetics. Is this supposed to be lotus flower? Haha. They don't provide a separate spatula, so I'm using one I've saved from other products. Because of these little drawbacks, I'm deducting one star.

But this cream doesn't flake at all, and the hydration lasts so long! The pink tint of the cream brightens my mood every time I use it. I love fragrance-free products, and this one's scent is pleasantly subtle. Even when I apply a generous amount, it doesn't pill, and it creates a perfect base for makeup! I've been using it as the final step in my winter skincare routine, and its gentleness works wonders for my skin. The dual functionality makes me reach for it even more often! For those with extremely dry skin, this product alone might not be enough, unfortunately. Its lightweight texture means you'll need to layer it over a solid skincare base to prevent dryness. That being said, I haven't found a cream with better hydration than this one! I even apply it to my body! When the seasons change, my face gets flaky, breaks out, and makeup looks patchy... But it's amazing how the lotus cream completely addresses these skin concerns with its ultra-hydrating formula! I use a moderate amount in the morning and apply it generously at night. The packaging and cream color are beautiful, and I love the scent too! However, fragrance is subjective, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea. Highly recommended for those with super sensitive and dry skin! The spatula is neither here nor there, but if I had to mention a downside, I guess it would be the spatula? Pro tip: On days when your skin feels extremely dry and tight, apply a generous layer in the evening, follow up with a sheet mask, and wake up to renewed skin the next morning!
