The scent isn't overpowering, and it provides excellent hydration. It's perfect for seasonal changes or when you want to give your skin a protective layer. Even with generous application, the quantity lasts well - I used it for about 3 months! I'm concerned it might be too heavy for combination or oily skin types. I bought it solely for the hydration, but its oil-based, heavier texture makes it less than ideal, especially for summer use. The hydration is excellent! Even with just a small amount, there's no feeling of tightness. It seems the entire Rice Pila line is pretty good. Personally, I dislike the jar-type container as I find it unhygienic.

The value for money is excellent too! It comes in a jar rather than a tube. May be too rich for oily skin types! This cream is thick and creamy, offering supreme hydration - a true blessing for extremely dry skin in the dead of winter. It's so rich that it even tackles deep dryness, making it my go-to daily moisturizer. It's gentle enough for super sensitive skin too. I expected a rice bran scent, but was pleasantly surprised by a refreshing lemon fragrance that keeps me feeling invigorated even after application! I can't really think of any downsides. However, those who don't react well to fermented rice bran products should be cautious! After thoroughly hydrating with toner and skin, I finish by gently patting this cream into my skin, allowing it to absorb deeply.

I thought this 'double moisturizing cream' would be super thick and oily, but it applies smoothly and feels light! Compared to other moisturizers, it's less greasy while still providing intense hydration. That's definitely a plus. And I love the subtle, nutty rice scent when applying it! The only slight drawback is that it might feel a bit heavy for summer use, but that's about it.
