It's moisturizing and absorbs beautifully. The color is a bit deep, but when applied thinly, it becomes lighter, making it more versatile than expected. As expected from a lipstick, the staying power is somewhat disappointing. - be******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2022
The color is absolutely stunning! It's so beautiful. I once saw an ad for it somewhere and thought 'Oh, that's pretty,' but when I searched for swatches, they were so inconsistent that I spent years just contemplating it. Now I regret not buying it sooner - it's gorgeous! It's the epitome of a dried rose shade, not too muted, with just the right amount of saturation that gives a lively and elegant look. And don't even get me started on the case - it's the epitome of luxury! I'm also in love with the formula. It's not just moisturizing, but it applies with a delightful bounce, adhering perfectly to the lips and feeling incredibly comfortable. While the longevity might be a bit lacking, everything else is so perfect that I'm willing to overlook it. If you have a deep undertone, go grab this now! As moisturizing as it is, the transfer and longevity aspects are a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2022
First of all, I'm really enjoying using this because the color is absolutely gorgeous. In my opinion, it looks beautiful when applied as a gradient! Naturally, since it's quite moisturizing, the staying power isn't particularly long-lasting - tw********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 14, 2021
I'm talking about Bobbi Brown's Luxe Shine Intense Lipstick in the shade Claret. It's a coral lip color, but it leans more pink. At first glance or swatched on the back of your hand, it might look like a dried rose shade, but on the lips, it's a subtle pink-coral. It's moisturizing with great staying power and hydration. I bought it on sale during a Coupang promotion. They're doing a collab with MAC right now, and while the selection varies, interested roomies should check it out! (Though this isn't related to that specific promotion...haha) #BobbiBrownLipstick #DailyLipRecommendation #CoralLipRecommendation I wouldn't recommend this to those who don't suit pink-coral shades It's moisturizing and pigmented, making it great for any occasion - hy*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 15, 2020
True to Bobbi Brown's reputation, this lipstick is moisturizing and has excellent adherence. While I've been using MAC Retro Matte a lot lately due to mask-wearing, this lipstick applies smoothly and is so hydrating that you don't need lip balm. It glides on effortlessly without causing dryness! The color is quite deep, and while I prefer a full lip application, applying this shade fully makes me look older. It feels more suited to my mother's age group. The photo I've attached shows the color when applied lightly for reference. This shade looks even prettier when layered. For a more sophisticated look, I apply Bobbi Brown's Hibiscus on the inner part of my lips! (Hibiscus alone can also make you look older, but it's beautiful when combined with this shade!) Alternatively, applying a red lip color (like Ruby Woo or other reds) creates a lively yet subdued look. Given the color characteristics, pairing it with more intense eye makeup creates a striking yet balanced appearance without being too flashy! - zi****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2020
I rarely splurge on color cosmetics, but after trying this one, I just had to buy it... It applies smoothly without emphasizing dead skin cells, and has a soft, plush texture. The actual color differs quite a bit from the photo, so I highly recommend testing it out for yourself! It comes off easily... There's hardly any staining, so I'll probably use it up quickly, haha! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 24, 2020
It's pricey, but worth it. When applied to the lips, the color appears more subtle than a regular lipstick, giving off a sophisticated vibe. The texture isn't overly creamy, but has a really nice, firm consistency. Given the brand's reputation, the high price is unavoidable. However, if you apply it too heavily, it can make you look older. - ai******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2019
1. Perfect for everyday use as a lipstick. I call it a dried rose color. It's an ideal shade for autumn. 2. It's moisturizing. The lipstick absorbs well, gliding on smoothly for a flawless application. I can't think of any drawbacks... I use it daily and highly recommend it! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2019
The case exudes luxury. The moment I saw it, I was struck by the beautiful shimmering gold exterior. Upon opening, I was pleased to find a sleek black interior cradling the lipstick - it's exactly to my taste. The color is a gorgeous muted plum with dried rose undertones. Initially, I thought it would be perfect for autumn warm tones, which made me hesitant as I have a winter cool complexion. However, upon application, I was pleasantly surprised. It's not just a typical dried rose shade; there's a subtle hint of purple that makes it surprisingly flattering even on my cool-toned skin. While it might not be ideal for spring warm or summer cool tones, I think it would look stunning on autumn warm or winter cool complexions. It's fascinating to see a color that bridges these two palettes - quite a rare find in my experience. The staying power is impressive for a lipstick, especially considering its moisturizing formula. Typically, hydrating lipsticks don't last as long as matte ones, but this product has exceptional longevity. It's almost on par with a long-lasting lip tint, minus the staining effect. The case is quite prone to fingerprints. If you handle it after applying foundation, you'll leave very visible marks - it's almost like a crime scene investigator's dream lipstick case! Honestly, the biggest drawback is the price. While the quality is good, I'm not convinced it's worth 43,000 won. The color, a muted rose with a hint of plum, isn't particularly unique or extraordinarily beautiful to justify the high-end brand price tag. I actually found it quite similar to my Mamonde Creamy Tint Color Balm Intense in shade 10 Classic Burgundy, which is about 34,000 won cheaper. That price difference could buy you three other lip products! To be frank, I don't think the product quality justifies the 43,000 won price point. For those of us on a budget, it's not a must-have item. Being a moisturizing formula, it does tend to slip a bit. It's fine if you apply it in one swipe, but let's face it - we often need to touch up our lipstick throughout the day. I've found that patting it on works better than swiping to minimize this issue. I like to pair this with the Eglips Muse In Velvet Lipstick V002 Bronzer Pink. I first apply the Bobbi Brown Luxe Shine Intense Lipstick in Claret all over, then dab the Eglips Muse In Velvet Lipstick V002 Bronzer Pink just in the center. This combination creates a beautifully natural, soft lip color that I'm absolutely in love with! - sa*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2019
The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's slightly warm with a hint of that late 90s vibe - you know what I mean, right? The staying power is incredible. Seriously, one swipe and you can achieve a full gradient effect. I bought this because it looked similar to YSL 407, which is my holy grail color. To be honest, it's similar yet different. If you're after the 407 look, you might be better off with the YSL lipstick line. But what I really love about this one is its oily texture with amazing color payoff, which is quite different from YSL. I really hope they come out with more colors in this line. In this era of matte everything, this is exactly the texture I've been craving... it's perfect! There's not much to dislike. The price, maybe? Oh, and my friend said the case looks hilariously weird - it's like a long stick. Also, now that I'm looking at it, the ingredients aren't great, unfortunately. Be careful when applying - the color payoff is so intense that if you put on too much, you might end up with that 90s celebrity lip look!
