As someone with typically dry and sensitive skin, I'm always cautious when choosing oil-based products. I'd heard a lot about the benefits of rice bran oil for the skin, but its characteristic heaviness and thick texture made me hesitant to try it. That's when I discovered Hayejin Rice Bran Oil for Face. I was drawn to its use of 99.9% domestic rice ingredients and its vegan certification, so I decided to give it a try. After using it, I was more than satisfied, which is why I'm leaving this review. I'll focus on the product's strengths and provide an honest, detailed account. **1. Amazing Hydration and Deep Dryness Solution** The first thing I want to praise is its exceptional hydration. After cleansing, applying 2-3 drops of rice bran oil as the final step in my skincare routine leaves my skin feeling deeply moisturized. Previously, even with the most hydrating creams, my skin would feel tight and dry after a while. But with this rice bran oil, I noticed that the moisturizing effect lasted all day. I was particularly impressed by the cold fermentation process used, which seems to enhance the oil's absorption, delivering hydration deep into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with deep dryness. * **Deep skin hydration**: The oil feels like it's penetrating deep into the skin, providing moisture. * **All-day moisture retention**: Apply in the morning, and the moisturizing effect lasts until evening. * **Combats deep dryness**: Effectively addresses the issue of skin that's oily on the surface but dry underneath. * **Excellent absorption**: Thanks to the cold fermentation process, the oil absorbs quickly without sitting on the skin. * **Enhanced moisture retention**: Prevents moisture evaporation, improving the skin's ability to retain hydration. **2. Gentle and Safe Ingredients, Suitable for Sensitive Skin** As someone with sensitive skin, I always carefully check cosmetic ingredients. Hayejin Rice Bran Oil for Face not only uses 99.9% domestic rice ingredients but also consists of EWG green-grade gentle components, making it safe to use. Additionally, its vegan certification added to my confidence in the product. During use, I experienced no blemishes, redness, or skin irritation. Instead, my skin felt soothed and comfortable. I believe this product is safe even for those with super sensitive skin. * **99.9% domestic rice ingredients**: The use of domestic rice ingredients makes it safer and more reliable. * **EWG green grade**: Composed of EWG green-grade gentle ingredients, minimizing skin irritation. * **Vegan certified**: The vegan certification provides additional assurance for use. * **Skin-soothing effect**: Calms and comforts the skin. * **Use without worry of blemishes**: Even sensitive skin can use this product without concerns about blemishes. **3. Non-sticky, Fresh Feel** Many people avoid oil products due to their sticky, heavy feel, but I was very satisfied with how Hayejin Rice Bran Oil for Face finishes with a fresh, non-sticky feel. After applying the oil, my skin doesn't feel heavy or suffocated, but rather moisturized and soft. As a result, I could use it before makeup without any pilling or clumping, achieving a dewy skin look. I highly recommend this to those who dislike sticky oils. * **Light and fresh texture**: Absorbs quickly into the skin with a light, fresh texture and no stickiness. * **Moisturizes without heaviness**: After applying the oil, skin feels moisturized without any heaviness or suffocation. * **Prevents makeup pilling**: Can be used before makeup without causing pilling or clumping, helping achieve a dewy skin look. * **Balances skin's oil and moisture**: Regulates the skin's oil and moisture balance, maintaining hydrated skin without greasiness. * **Suitable for all seasons**: The non-sticky, fresh feel makes it comfortable to use year-round. **4. Complexion Improvement and Glow-Boosting Effect** With consistent use of Hayejin Rice Bran Oil for Face, I noticed my complexion becoming brighter and clearer. It also added a natural glow to my skin, making it look healthier and more vibrant. The various nutrients in rice bran seem to have a positive effect on the skin. I recommend this to anyone concerned about a dull, lifeless complexion. * **Complexion improvement**: You can feel the effect of your skin tone becoming brighter and clearer. * **Adds skin glow**: Gives the skin a natural glow. * **Boosts skin vitality**: Enhances skin vitality and makes it look healthier. * **Improves overall skin health**: Enhances overall skin health, creating beautiful, healthy skin. * **Skin protection**: Protects the skin from external irritants. Hayejin Rice Bran Oil for Face is a satisfying product in all aspects, from its excellent hydration and gentle, safe ingredients to its non-sticky, fresh feel and complexion-improving, glow-boosting effects. I especially recommend it for those with dry and sensitive skin. It's a product that has changed my preconceptions about rice bran oil. If you have skin concerns, I urge you to give it a try. While Hayejin Rice Bran Oil for Face is generally a satisfying product, there are a few minor drawbacks to consider. Firstly, the scent might not appeal to everyone. The subtle, characteristic aroma of rice bran may seem unfamiliar to those accustomed to artificial fragrances. If you're sensitive to scents, it's advisable to test the product before purchasing. Secondly, as with any oil, it's crucial to use the right amount. While those with dry skin might be tempted to apply it liberally, using too much can lead to excessive oiliness. It's important to use the appropriate amount and adjust according to your skin's condition. Thirdly, the packaging design leaves something to be desired. It lacks a luxurious feel, and the dropper bottle might be less convenient than a pump dispenser. It may also be challenging to use up the product completely, which is a slight disadvantage. Lastly, the price point is somewhat high. Compared to other face oils, it might seem expensive and could be a concern for some. However, considering its use of domestic rice ingredients and vegan certification, the price could be seen as reasonable. Despite these minor drawbacks, Hayejin Rice Bran Oil for Face remains a product that benefits skin health with its excellent hydration and gentle ingredients. - ej*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2023
To be honest, I don't usually feel much long-lasting hydration from oil products, but I keep buying them just in case, especially during winter. This product didn't cause any blemishes even when applied generously. It's gentle and moisturizing, so I've been using it well! It was pretty good. I didn't see much effect in terms of brightening! The hydration isn't quite strong enough to use this product on its own. - ml****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2021
I used to think oils were only for winter, but they're actually essential in summer! I was washing my face frequently due to sweat, and each time my skin felt parched. No matter how much toner or emulsion I applied, nothing seemed to absorb in the humid weather. Everything just slipped off with one face wash, leaving me back at square one. But applying this oil has been a game-changer! It creates a protective barrier, so there's no dryness after cleansing. When I rinse with water on sweaty days, my skin feels incredibly soft and supple. I've realized that in summer, when skin is already moisture-rich from humidity, we need oils to reinforce our skin barrier rather than piling on more hydration. Plus, it's free from harmful ingredients, so I can apply it all over my face without any allergic reactions! I can't believe I'm only now discovering why everyone raves about facial oils. It's truly a revelation for skincare! There are no downsides! Unless you're prone to blemishes from oils, this is an absolute game-changer for skincare! - lo********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 4, 2021
I don't usually use oils, but I got this as a sample with my sunstick purchase. I thought I'd give it a try, and surprisingly, I ended up using every last drop! It really opened my eyes to the benefits of facial oils. As you can see in the photo, there are sugar-like granules in it. I'm curious about what they are and why they're included. For a perfect finish to your skincare routine, just press two drops into your palms and apply. It'll give you that coveted glowing complexion! - hy********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 4, 2020
The dropper bottle makes it easy to control the number of oil drops. The dropper effectively draws up the oil, and I experienced no inconvenience during use. Although it's 30ml, you'll find it lasts quite a while as you only need to use a small amount. Since natural oils don't contain preservatives, it's best to use it up as quickly as possible within 6 months. Without any added fragrances, the product emits its own natural, nutty aroma. There are no concerning ingredients, and the formulation is very simple. The oil is yellow in color and, being an oil, it does feel slippery and slightly sticky. However, compared to other oils, it's not excessively so. Among various face oils, I'd say it's middle-of-the-road in terms of oiliness and hydration. It doesn't leave an overly greasy finish, so you can comfortably use it as part of your skincare routine before applying makeup. With continued use, I noticed the dropper part of the container started to peel, leaving white flakes sticking to my fingers. I think the container's surface material needs to be improved. Also, when I consider that I can purchase high-quality organic oils from overseas brands like Now at very affordable prices through direct purchasing, I can't really say this product offers great value for money. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 11, 2020
I usually avoid oil products because they feel heavy, but this oil was surprisingly lightweight compared to others! It also had this pleasant, nutty... almost grain-like scent that I really enjoyed. Hmm... there wasn't much I disliked, but if I had to choose something, it would be the packaging. I found it leaked easily, which was inconvenient. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 29, 2020
The ingredients seem beneficial, and I appreciate that it doesn't contain any harmful substances. The scent is like soybean oil, reminiscent of oily rice cakes from the countryside. After application, I don't feel any freshness at all. It's like having soybean oil on my palms. - bl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2020
Money talks, but this oil's fresh finish speaks volumes! While many oil products tend to pill, this one leaves a refreshingly light feel, allowing me to apply it in the morning before makeup. I didn't use much - just one drop creates a moisturizing barrier that really locks in the hydration from my ampoule. This oil has definitely conquered my deep dryness this winter! It's clear that for combating dehydration, a drop of oil is absolutely essential! I personally loved the scent. It's quite similar to the Clarins oil I used during pregnancy, which I adored, so I had no issues with it. While the body oil has a strong rice scent (like rice water?), the face oil has just a hint of it. I prefer the fresher scent for facial use. The opaque bottle is a bit of a letdown. It's impossible to see how much product is left, even when shaking it. I still can't tell how much remains, though there seems to be plenty when I use the dropper. Personally, I believe cosmetic packaging should always be transparent for hygiene reasons and to easily check the remaining amount. I've deducted one star because the non-transparent bottle makes me slightly uneasy. Use sparingly - just one drop at a time. At night, I use a bit more. I mix it into my cream (quite generously) before applying. When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels incredibly smooth and lovely. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2020
I usually avoid oil products due to my preference for thick textures, the slippery residue left on hands, and my skin's tendency to develop small blemishes. However, I decided to try this natural product. Surprisingly, it has a texture similar to regular serums - it's moisturizing and absorbs well, making it very pleasant to use. There's no lingering slipperiness on the hands, which is great. It feels gentle and non-irritating on the skin. Perhaps because it's a natural product, there's no fragrance at all, and it has a distinct oily smell typical of oil-based products. - si******Dry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2020
For dry and sensitive skin. It works well when mixed with a small amount of cream. Many reviews say it's refreshing, but I found it too heavy... It felt a bit like it was clogging my pores? I had to pat it into my skin for a long time after dropping it on my face for it to barely absorb, and the areas where I applied it were very itchy.
