Application and longevity: This is where my husband and I have different experiences. For me, with my dry and deeply dehydrated skin, I need to layer other products on top. However, this serum doesn't just disappear without a trace - it provides a decent level of hydration. The real surprise is how it works for my husband's combination skin. He just applies his usual toner and essence, then this serum, and his skin has a beautiful glow that lasts until evening! It's so amazing that I want to buy it specifically for him! It's not the easiest product to get your hands on, since there aren't any physical stores. I'm currently looking to purchase it myself, but I didn't realize when I first received it as a gift how expensive it actually is. The price is quite steep, to be honest. It's so hydrating! The pump bottle is hygienic and easy to use. While it's a bit on the pricier side, I'm satisfied because it feels great on my skin.

It's like they've hidden gold in their cosmetics... The product effectiveness is truly something else! It's so moving... Using the Hwamyung serum and cream together creates an even greater synergistic effect. I can't imagine losing my Hwamyung skincare products. The only downside is that it's hard to purchase. You can only find it at Sephora or the single Hwamyung flagship store in Seoul. Used together with Hwamyung cream. The synergistic effect is off the charts. It takes your skincare routine to the next level.

I think it would be great to use this on its own during summer. The pump dispenser makes it super convenient to use! There's a slight residue left on the skin, which might be a bit uncomfortable for those with oily skin. It doesn't evaporate quickly, so you can feel a slight film on your skin.

The texture is perfectly balanced - not too light, not too heavy - with a refreshing finish. It's ideal as an intermediate step before applying your moisturizer. The scent is pleasant too, with a subtle, soap-like fragrance that's not overpowering. This essence won't pill under makeup, which is a huge plus. It seems to do a great job at smoothing out dead skin cells too - fantastic! Sold by Dong-A Pharmaceutical and manufactured by Coson. There's not much to criticize, honestly. The pump dispenser is hygienic, and the packaging is compact and quite cute. It's gentle and reduces skin tightness. It absorbs well when applying makeup, keeping the skin moisturized. The hydration power is excellent. There's no stickiness, and the overall feel is pleasant. There's nothing particularly disappointing. I just wish the packaging was a bit prettier.
