And while I really liked it for the first week, after I started using just this lotion without any other products underneath, about a week later my skin started to hurt... it became inflamed, my pores opened up, and it got red... I thought this lotion would calm it down, so I applied more, but I didn't realize the lotion was the cause. Since the inflammation didn't go away, I wondered if the lotion was really the problem, so I tried the Hwahae cream and my skin calmed down... I'm at a loss as to what in this simple formulation doesn't agree with my skin, and I'm really disappointed.

Wow...it's really, really good. I really struggled a lot trying to decide whether to get the blue or the red, but the staff at Olive Young recommended the red for troubled skin, so I bought the red and it's really great. It's truly my life lotion. The moisturizing is good, the application is smooth, and the absorption is good too. It doesn't feel sticky at all! My acne also seems to be really calming down. I've only used it for a week, but I'm completely satisfied!!!!

It's all so great that I don't see any downsides at all - I highly recommend it!

Pros
This lotion is really lightweight and gentle on the skin. I've been using the Physiogel line a lot, and I wanted to try the Red Soothing products as well. While the regular daily line is lightweight and moisturizing, the Red Soothing line also has a soothing effect. The formula is lightweight and gentle on the skin, but it's also incredibly moisturizing. The Physiogel lotion is the only one that fits this description. I'm currently using bottle after bottle of it. If you don't want to bother with applying multiple products, this one is great to just use on its own before bed.
Cons
There are no real downsides to using it. If I had to mention one, it would be that the lotion tends to clump up around the opening.

When my skin was flipped over, this was fine, so I just applied this. It seems to be good for soothing.
Cons
The only downside is that the price is a bit high, but everything else is so great that I think I'll buy it again.

📍Moisture It's quite oily, but it feels really moisturizing and like the moisture is really being absorbed. I usually apply a generous amount before bed. 📍Texture The watery lotion-like texture makes it easy to apply a lot without feeling burdened. 📍Ingredients It seems gentle on the skin! The ingredients are good, and even though it's quite oily, I haven't experienced any breakouts. It also absorbs really well! 📍Soothing Surprisingly, it does have a soothing effect. I tend to have oily skin and breakouts around my chin area, but after using this lotion, the blemishes have calmed down a bit. Applying it consistently seems to help with skin recovery.
