My skin was extremely dry and tight, but this product was easy to use without any issues. It's gentle, so it doesn't irritate my skin. The scent isn't overpowering either. (If you dislike fragrances, there's also an unscented version available.) The hydration level is a bit lacking. Even after application, my skin quickly feels dry again. For particularly dry areas, I recommend applying twice and using a facial oil alongside it for better results. - tn*******Dry SkinSep 21, 2023
It was on sale, so it was affordable. As someone with sensitive, dry skin, I found it gentle and perfect for summer use. It has a silky finish that doesn't leave my skin greasy. There's a scent reminiscent of herbal medicine. After application, it leaves a white cast that takes a while to absorb. It didn't seem to suit my skin - after about 3 days of use, my skin became extremely dry, with a burning sensation and itchiness. I'm not sure which ingredient caused this reaction, but I couldn't even use half of it. Now I'm just using it as a hand cream. - mi*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 10, 2022
As someone with extremely dry skin, I've been living off Atobarrier 365, but I often struggled with application control, causing it to pill or slide before makeup. I was on the hunt for a cream that wouldn't pill under makeup while still providing good hydration. I stumbled upon this on Coupang - it was affordable and had great ingredients, so I decided to give it a try. I'm quite satisfied! While it doesn't give that intense 'wet glow' effect, it almost completely eliminates deep dryness and creates an excellent base for makeup. It doesn't accentuate dead skin cells either. I plan to use this for a while, and when I'm in front of the heater, I'll give myself a little spritz of Dalba spray for extra moisture. The rice grain-shaped container is cute, but it's not very practical to use. A simple tube design would be easier to use and recycle. I find it works really well when you follow up with a light mist of facial oil - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2022
It looks like it might be very oily, but it's not greasy at all. I love the unique herbal scent it has! It's also effective in calming blemishes!! I think I've finally found a great cream after a long time!! It's not as effective for brightening as the cream I used before. Other than that, I don't have any other issues with it. - oy******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 1, 2022
- Personally, this was my favorite product from the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice line - It has a white, opaque texture that absorbs well into the skin and leaves a subtle glow - When applied before makeup, it creates an excellent base for cosmetics to adhere to Hmm...? There's nothing... really nothing negative to say. I'm genuinely struggling to find any cons (scratching my head) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2022
My skin is prone to contact dermatitis and is quite sensitive. This cream doesn't irritate my eyes and absorbs quickly, leaving a refreshing feel. After applying, my skin feels soft to the touch. I like that it doesn't feel sticky, even though you can tell you've applied a product. Those who prefer richer textures might not enjoy this. It may not be suitable for extremely dry skin. The oil content isn't high, so the glow it imparts varies from person to person. In my case, it gives just a subtle hint of radiance. I'm using this alongside the Wonder Toner. The toner is also gentle on the eyes and oil-free. When I layer the toner and then this cream, I find it's neither sticky nor drying, which works great for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinNov 22, 2021
The application is a bit thick but spreads smoothly. It absorbs very quickly into the skin - you can feel it sinking in right away. However, it doesn't feel particularly moisturizing, so I have to layer it twice and finish with a face oil. Even with my combination dehydrated skin, the hydration isn't noticeable. If you have dry skin, using this product would just be a waste of money, unfortunately. On the bright side, it didn't cause any irritation or blemishes, which is good. I bought it at Lohb's with a discount coupon, so the price was reasonable, but even that feels like too much for what it offers. The packaging is really, really disappointing. You can't stand it up, and there's no way to tell how much product is left. It's just awful. Moreover, I haven't encountered a product with such poor moisturizing effectiveness in a long time. I know the Haruharu Wonder Toner is famous, but why is the cream like this? - le********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 12, 2021
The smooth application and subtle fragrance were delightful. As someone with dry skin, I prioritize hydration when choosing creams, and this one really delivers. Its greatest strength is how it maintains a plump, moisturized feel without any deep dryness, even the next morning or later in the afternoon after application. Despite being a cream, it's also affordably priced. It's a solid, no-frills option for dry skin types, especially in winter. However, it might feel a bit rich now that it's summer. The packaging is quite inconvenient. The double-layered lid has long since separated, and it can't stand upright, taking up too much space on my vanity. Also, while it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry in the morning, it's so rich that it makes my skin look oily and shiny. This is problematic for my combination dehydrated skin... - mi****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityJul 14, 2021
Pros: Smooth application and absorbs well. Adorable product design. Cons: Feels hot on the skin after application and absorption. Doesn't penetrate well, leaving a white cast that requires thorough patting. Initially moisturizing upon application, but becomes very drying afterwards. - zo******Normal SkinRecommendedMar 15, 2021
●Absorbs well● - First of all, it's incredibly smooth. The high-quality ingredients allow it to glide on effortlessly, making rough skin feel remarkably silky. ■Absorbs well■ - It absorbs into the skin better than any product I've used before. Within 5 minutes, it's fully absorbed, leaving the skin's surface feeling soft and supple. ●Hydration● - After application, the skin feels moisturized for at least 5 hours without any deep dryness. It's so hydrating that I no longer need to use a separate moisturizer, which I used to do for hydration. Overall, the price and other aspects feel just right, with no shortcomings. It's slightly disappointing that you can't stand the product upright or lay it down. It would be even better if they could add a small angled edge to the bottom part of the packaging.
