It lathers up nicely with rich foam and has a sweet, intense vanilla-like fragrance. It's convenient to carry around, so I took it with me when I went to exercise. I'm not sure why it's called 'potato' though! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2020
- The foam lathers up beautifully and abundantly. - You can actually see the grime washing off your body (If you prop your leg on the sink and let the foam run down, you can see the day's pollution washing away...) - It feels like you're in the middle of a beach! (It's full of that coconut oil/tanning oil scent~) - Blemishes really do disappear. It's amazing. The coconut scent is quite strong. If you're not a fan of this fragrance... I use a glove-type towel. Sometimes I just use my bare hands to quickly lather it all over my body. I apply the foam, wash my hair, then rinse it all off - it leaves my skin feeling more hydrated and soft. - je*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2020
As someone with dry skin and keratosis pilaris, I'm prone to blemishes on my neck and chest. I pay extra attention to hydration even in summer, as dryness worsens my skin issues. Using this potato shower gel, I noticed my skin felt more moisturized compared to other products post-shower. While I'm not sure if the body emulsion helped with blemishes, I'm satisfied with how soft and hydrated my skin feels after showering. Thankfully, the scent isn't potato-like but has hints of oatmeal, similar to a cleansing foam I've used before, making it pleasant to use. The lather is moderate - it might depend on your loofah, but with my long back scrubber, it seems to produce less foam. I plan to try it again with a regular loofah and update my review. While I appreciate the transparent bottle that makes it easy to see how much product is left, I wish it came in a larger size. For those with body blemishes, it's crucial to use gentle shower gels and body emulsions to minimize breakouts. This is especially important for those with keratosis pilaris - don't exfoliate too frequently!
