It's like a perfect blend between a lipstick and a tint... Not too runny, not too solid, striking just the right balance. In the photo, it's the product on the right, while the left is the Composition Color. Compared to the left product, when actually applied, you'll notice the pink is a bit softer and mixed with a hint of yellow (or orange) undertones. Since I tend to have yellowish undertones in my skin, I usually try to avoid warm colors or shades with yellow tints. However, this product surprised me by having more of an orange tint when applied, which wasn't what I expected, so I don't reach for it as often as I thought I would. While the model images suggest a dried rose or muted pink, when I actually applied it, I could feel the yellow undertones. I have to agree that it's matte yet moisturizing. It applies with a hydrating feel but finishes with a soft, powdery texture. I thought the color would be dark, but it's perfect as a base lip color! While I'm not familiar with this brand, it seems a bit pricey to me.
