  Pros

  I was skeptical at first, having tried other #13 foundations without noticing any brightening effect. But wow, this one's amazing! It applies thinly and strikes the perfect balance - not too dry, not too moist. I was worried when I first swatched it on my hand, seeing just a white color, but when I applied it to my face, it gave me a beautiful, radiant complexion. Highly recommend for those with fair skin!

  Cons

  The coverage is quite sheer. It's even difficult to conceal light freckles.

  Tip

  Although I have fair skin, applying it thickly on its own might be a bit much. However, when applied in a thin layer, it looks beautiful! I've been disappointed with other #13 foundations and cushions on the market, often resorting to just using a lavender base or a sunscreen with a white cast to finish my skin makeup. But now, I think those days are over!

  Pros

  I have fair skin, about shade 13. I heard so many great things about VDL foundation that I decided to give it a try, and it's become my holy grail foundation! I've been using it for over six months now and still can't find any flaws. My skin is combination with an oily T-zone and dry elsewhere, but when I apply this foundation and set it carefully with powder, it stays put until the end of my night shift. (I don't even need to carry touch-up products.) Although the shade is quite light, when applied thinly with a puff, it just gives a radiant finish. I also value coverage, and I'd say this provides medium to high coverage. Summary: • Very brightening foundation • Medium to high coverage • Minimal breakdown (when set with powder)

  I've been using it for over six months and still haven't found any drawbacks.

  Pros

  First off, the color is really white. Since most #13 shades don't suit me well, I decided to go for a white one instead of a darker shade, and it's not bad at all. To be honest, when I swatched it on my wrist, I thought, 'Is this too white...?' But when applied to the face, it spreads thinly and doesn't look overly white - it matches my complexion perfectly. It's not as drying as I expected, and the foundation layer is incredibly thin. The staying power seems quite good too. It feels powdery soft, doesn't transfer, which is great.

  Cons

  First, the coverage is almost non-existent. The skin doesn't look particularly beautiful with this... I'm not sure if it's because I set it with powder on top, but compared to my previous product (cushion), it feels somewhat dry and flaky? It could be that my skin condition was poor and my blemishes were showing through, which might have influenced my perception.
