Perfect for those with a fair complexion. The staying power is quite good too! As time passes, it does get a bit oily. Can't be helped with my oily skin, but it's slightly disappointing. If you apply it thinly like a cushion foundation, it creates a beautiful skin finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedMar 9, 2024
As someone with a fair complexion who's tried every light shade from every brand, VDL foundation matches perfectly. It's rare to find such a light shade among Korean brands. Plus, the way it wears off is actually quite pretty. If you have a shade 17 skin tone, this might appear too light. It's better suited for those with shade 13 or even fairer skin. I loved how it applied thinly when I lightly spread it with a spatula and then patted it with a pili mili puff. - ss******Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 1, 2024
I came to write a review, but... Is this product discontinued? I've been mixing it with my foundation because the shade I use is too dark. What a shame. Even though I'm on the fair side, using this alone makes me look too pale and matte. It's perfect for mixing with darker foundations. - ca*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresFeb 21, 2024
The color is bright and beautiful. It adheres perfectly without any patchiness. I bought it when it came back in stock after being discontinued. The ingredients aren't suitable for sensitive skin. After applying, my face started itching and blemishes began to appear. If you have sensitive skin and only use mineral sunscreens, buying this would be a waste of money like it was for me. I can only use it on the bridge of my nose... or as a highlighter on the stronger parts of my skin. It's whiter and about two shades lighter than Banila Co's new light shade. Mixing it with Bbia's M01 shade, which has a dark pinkish-orange tone, creates a more natural pink complexion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 20, 2023
As someone who usually wears Hera Black Cushion in shade 13, I found this to be more like a 10-11 shade. It made my skin look much brighter, almost too light. I mixed it with Double Wear in Shell to achieve a tone that's slightly fairer than my natural complexion. The hydration level is comparable to Double Wear, but you'll need a good skincare routine underneath. The staying power is quite impressive as well. This is the lightest shade I've ever tried. I'd recommend it for those who really want to achieve a very fair complexion. It tends to sit on top of the skin rather than blending seamlessly, so it might work better as a highlighter. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 13, 2023
It's seriously white, just really white! There wasn't anything particularly bad about it, but nothing stood out as great either. It's just average. If you have dry skin, you might find it a bit drying. I felt some deep dryness. There's nothing specifically bad to mention. It's truly just ordinary, nothing more. If I had to pick something, maybe it's a bit drying? But that could be because I didn't do my skincare routine properly. I think if you have dry skin and take care of your base skincare, it should be fine. - sk****Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2023
This seems to be the best foundation for creating a fair and bright complexion! I think it has better staying power compared to other foundations too! It's a bit drying, so I'm mixing it with other foundations when I use it! If you mix it with a moisturizing pink-toned foundation, you can achieve a fair and smooth skin look! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2023
My complexion is naturally bright, so it's usually hard to find the right shade. But this one goes on beautifully, giving my skin a radiant look that I love. I have combination skin that leans towards dry, and it gets especially parched in winter. If I don't diligently follow my skincare routine, my skin feels tight and flaky. - gh*********Oily SkinRecommendedJan 8, 2023
As someone with a warm undertone, shade 13, and challenging skin with cosmetic ingredient allergies, it's incredibly convenient to mix this with A00 for most light-colored foundations. I used to blend M01 with A00 in the same product line, but after M01's reformulation caused an allergic reaction, this is the only one I can use now. Please don't change the ingredients! I'm not particularly concerned about coverage, so I'm not sure if it provides good coverage. Since I use it for mixing anyway, I just hope they maintain this white shade. For those looking for foundations in shades 13 or 11, this product works great when mixed with your regular foundation. - ss*****Dry SkinRecommendedOct 31, 2022
It's so bright! Even when I used the lightest shade before, it always looked dark. This is the brightest one I've tried so far. If you have dry skin, you might find it a bit drying. It's not an extremely moisturizing type...
