I was looking for a modeling mask in the US and found this Korean product available on Amazon, so I gave it a try! While I haven't seen any dramatic effects yet, I definitely notice my skin feels calmer when I use this mask after applying my serum. The lid is a bit tricky to close... It's somewhat difficult to align properly. It works wonders when you apply a generous amount of serum before masking. Two thick scoops are just right to cover your entire face. - a1******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 30, 2020
This sheet mask is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin that can't tolerate burning sensations, making it the only skincare item I can use consistently. Plus, it's budget-friendly. If you apply a thick layer generously without skimping, one container can last for about 10 uses. There's not much to criticize, but if I had to nitpick, it's that modeling masks in general require a bit of preparation, mixing the powder with water, which can be slightly inconvenient. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedAug 5, 2020
It feels wonderfully cool and refreshing when applied to the face, effectively reducing heat and providing an excellent cooling effect. It's great for soothing irritated skin, and it's convenient to peel off with your hands. The edges can be a bit difficult to remove, and the scent is somewhat unpleasant. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2020
As someone with intense facial heat and redness, I can definitely say that on days I use this modeling mask, there's a noticeable difference! While I'm too lazy to do it every day, it's undeniably effective! Maybe it's because I'm not used to it, but controlling the thickness is a bit tricky. After peeling it off, there's always residue around the edges that requires rinsing with water, which adds to the hassle. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2020
I bought this after hearing about it for my husband's redness. True to its name, it's cooling and quickly calms down the burning sensation. When you touch the skin, you can feel that the cooling effect lasts longer than with regular sheet masks. Tired of making it? But for now, it's still fun! As others have mentioned, it's even better when mixed with aloe. Also, making it slightly thinner than the instructions suggest helps it apply more smoothly and peel off more easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 11, 2019
I've tried all of Anskin's modeling masks one by one. The small quantity per pack is actually a plus - you can try many different ones and enjoy picking which to use. Since they're used up quickly, there's less worry about expiration (though being dry powder, that's not really an issue). There's a certain satisfaction in smoothing your skin, applying the ampoule, and then doing the modeling mask. It's that spa-like experience of applying a modeling mask. I haven't personally used them before, so I'm not entirely sure, but from what my dad says about his massage experiences, these definitely feel better than regular sheet masks. The experience doesn't feel much different from other modeling masks. It's just an average modeling mask sensation. - mo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 30, 2019
For those with super sensitive skin who find it hard to do a daily mask routine! For those who sometimes get blemishes from masks! This product seems perfect for you. I have dry and sensitive skin, so I couldn't do a daily mask even though I wanted to. In fact, when I used sheet masks daily, I would get blemishes. And sometimes after using a sheet mask, my skin would feel stuffy and have a sudden burning sensation. I think my skin is at the peak of sensitivity! But then I heard that rubber masks are gentler and better for daily use than sheet masks, so I decided to give it a try. I bought both the aloe and cool ice versions, and found that the cool ice was much more soothing for my redness-prone sensitive skin. I use this mask 5-6 times a week in the evening after cleansing as my daily mask routine, and use a sheet mask 1-2 times a week. You end up using it quite quickly, so I buy three at a time. While others just use water, I mix aloe gel, essence, and a bit of mineral water for my mask. This method provides better soothing effects and more hydration than using water alone. I was looking for a product to use in my mask instead of my regular facial essence, which felt too precious to use this way. I found this product, which is very affordable and works well with modeling masks too. Highly recommended! And for those with redness and sensitive skin like me, try adding aloe gel to your mask. The soothing effect is amazing. After masking, you'll notice the redness has significantly calmed down. (The aloe gel is from Aromatica, and the broccoli extract is from Cellbien, for your reference.) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2019
The cooling effect was fantastic! Plus, buying the large size made it super affordable. It keeps dripping, so when I apply this, I can't do anything else and have to hold a tissue under my face. It's such a hassle! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2019
Great value for money! I think it was around $15 for 4 packs. The quantity is generous - it seems to last forever! No blemishes appear after use, and the ingredients look good. It's so relaxing to do a mask and unwind. Plus, there's minimal excess powder. It's not a super high-performance mask, so don't expect miraculous results. It's more about soothing the skin, you know? I didn't see much improvement in hydration. And honestly, the prep can be a bit of a hassle, so I don't use it as often as I should. This is perfect for summer when your face feels hot. For best results, apply a serum or aloe gel before putting on the mask. Or you can even mix the serum into the mask while preparing it. It works wonders! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 8, 2019
It feels refreshing on the face and it's convenient since you don't need to mix it with cold water. There weren't really any downsides. I just wish it came in a larger size. It works even better if you apply essence to your face before using it.
