It feels so lightweight, making my skin feel comfortable. This would be the main reason I'd recommend it to someone. I was looking for a lighter alternative to Jung Saem Mool cushion, which gives a beautiful finish but feels heavy, and this totally satisfies that need! It's incredibly lightweight. Coverage-wise, it's not super high. With Jung Saem Mool cushion, I didn't need a separate concealer, as it had really high coverage. If coverage is your top priority, you might not be satisfied. However, I'm happy with this level of coverage considering how light it feels! The color selection was tricky. I have about a 22 shade skin tone. I was hoping for a slightly brighter look, but it matches my skin tone exactly. It's not too yellow, and while it's supposed to be the lightest shade in the neutral color range, it doesn't seem that way. It might feel dark for those with 21 shade skin. Among my bases, it feels most similar to Jung Saem Mool cushion. I wanted something slightly brighter than that, so I'm a bit disappointed. Regarding hydration, I have combination dehydrated skin that leans towards dry. It doesn't feel particularly moisturizing. It's not matte, but it feels powdery after application. I didn't feel much hydration when applying it. To be honest, I haven't found a base that feels truly moisturizing yet. The Blie Blie cushion at least didn't feel drying (though it was more sticky than moisturizing). The longevity is impressive! This is my first time trying such a thin base, and I definitely noticed its benefits over time. Because it's so thin, there was no creasing (which is a big deal for me as I have deep arm wrinkles and under-eye wrinkles). It doesn't break down messily over time due to its lightweight nature. It's amazing - one of the two downsides of the Jung Saem Mool cushion was how it would break down, clumping due to its thickness. With this product, I wonder if 'breaking down' even exists! As for darkening, I didn't notice it at first, but when I compared it with other foundations, I was surprised. The color stayed true while others changed quickly. It maintains its original shade, which was quite impressive. The most satisfying aspect is how comfortable it feels on the skin. Even with my current skin troubles, this product feels comfortable and good! And it doesn't separate, which I love.
ConsThe color... well, that's my mistake. Next time I'll try the Namsan color, though I worry it might be too light. Anyway, Finland is supposed to be the lightest in the neutral range! It's not just about pink, yellow, or neutral base differences - this will definitely feel dark for those with 21 shade skin. As for the 'Aqua Glow'... I definitely don't think it gives that aqua, glowy feeling.
TipI'll definitely repurchase this! It's such a versatile product - it works well whether you apply it casually or layer it. It's super lightweight, and I love how it lasts without breaking down. However, I don't think it's suitable for very dry skin types. I felt it was slightly drying, and while it may vary from person to person, I wouldn't describe it as moisturizing!
