Pros

I often get acne on my chin, especially on days when the weather is nice. As a result, my acne scars are left dark or reddish, which is really stressful for me. So I purchased a serum that was said to help lighten the scars. To put it bluntly, it did work. It was not an easy purchase, as the price was quite high, so I really researched a lot before buying it. When I saw the before and after photos in the reviews, I was like, 'Wow, can it really get rid of scars that much?!' So I bought it, a bit skeptically. It's been about 2-3 months since I started using it, and the results vary for each scar. Some scars have faded a lot, some have disappeared a little, and some have just become a bit lighter. It seems the older scars take a bit more time. But the difference is definitely noticeable. When I wake up in the morning after applying it before bed, many of the scars have significantly faded. And with consistent use, I can really see the scars lightening. The main benefits are: 1. The acne scars have faded quite a bit. 2. There is a whitening effect with consistent use. These two benefits are quite simple but visually evident. However, you have to use it consistently and frequently!! I saw a review saying not to just use it once a day, but to reapply it throughout the day, so I've been doing that. I apply it twice a day after washing my face in the morning and evening, and on my rest days when I'm home, I dab it on the reddened areas to let it absorb.

Cons

As for downsides, I don't really have any. Some people said it feels a bit oily, but I have extremely oily skin and the oiliness doesn't really bother me whether I use it or not, as my skin is already quite oily in general. If I really had to nitpick, the only 'downside' is that you have to buy it during sale periods.

Tip

As I mentioned before, you really have to use it frequently. I definitely plan to repurchase, and I'll try to stock up during sales. Also, there's a cream in the same Bulgarian line that I use together with the serum. Using them together seems to make the scars fade even faster.
