Pros
When I first used it 6-7 years ago, the spot-reducing serum lived up to its name - my blemishes faded significantly and my complexion brightened. I didn't look either younger or older, but back then I appeared about 10 years younger. I used to mix SK-II Clear Lotion, SK-II Treatment, Isoyi Bulgarian Rose Serum, and cream, and then switched to using the full Isoyi set for about 2 years.
Cons
Both then and now, the moisturizing effect is a bit lacking. I used other products for a few years before coming back to it, and I'm on my second bottle, but this time I don't feel like my face is brightening at all. Did the whitening certification get revoked? The price also seems to have gone up a bit.
Tip
Try using the full set line once. I remember the synergistic effect was really noticeable when I first used it.

Pros
I usually buy two bottles when I use it during events, and I've almost finished the second bottle. I can see why the Blemish Serum is a bestseller. My skin used to have freckles and look dull, but after using it for about 3 months, the blemishes have faded a bit and my complexion looks brighter. It absorbs well, so it's easy to use morning and night.
Cons
With Isoi's other basic skincare products, the natural ingredients seem to make the absorption rate quite slow, so you have to wait for it to be fully absorbed before using the next product.
Tip
The Marionnaud large size lasts a really long time, but most Isoi products have a recommended 6-month shelf life after opening, so lately I've been recommending the 30ml size that's on sale, buying 3 of them.

I really like the Prael mask. It absorbs well and is easy to use. I can feel my skin getting brighter after using it. It seems like they only use gentle ingredients, which is great.
Cons

I bought the 70ml large size Marimo collaboration product for less than 60,000 won, which originally came with a 30ml bonus. I've been using the smaller one first, and now I've opened the bigger one. I have some blemishes and a few light freckles on my cheeks. While I didn't take before photos to objectively evaluate how much the freckles and acne scars have faded, I can definitely feel that my overall complexion has become brighter. The rose scent is absolutely wonderful, and the transparent gel formula applies so smoothly. I use one pump before makeup, and two pumps before skincare. It doesn't feel heavy or oily at all, and it absorbs instantly, leaving my skin feeling so refreshed and comfortable. It layers well under other creams, serums, or foundations without any issues. It's deeply absorbing yet still provides good hydration. I've tried the Goodal Citron Serum too, but I personally like this one better. The scent is just so lovely. ♡

I often get acne on my chin, especially on days when the weather is nice. As a result, my acne scars are left dark or reddish, which is really stressful for me. So I purchased a serum that was said to help lighten the scars. To put it bluntly, it did work. It was not an easy purchase, as the price was quite high, so I really researched a lot before buying it. When I saw the before and after photos in the reviews, I was like, 'Wow, can it really get rid of scars that much?!' So I bought it, a bit skeptically. It's been about 2-3 months since I started using it, and the results vary for each scar. Some scars have faded a lot, some have disappeared a little, and some have just become a bit lighter. It seems the older scars take a bit more time. But the difference is definitely noticeable. When I wake up in the morning after applying it before bed, many of the scars have significantly faded. And with consistent use, I can really see the scars lightening. The main benefits are: 1. The acne scars have faded quite a bit. 2. There is a whitening effect with consistent use. These two benefits are quite simple but visually evident. However, you have to use it consistently and frequently!! I saw a review saying not to just use it once a day, but to reapply it throughout the day, so I've been doing that. I apply it twice a day after washing my face in the morning and evening, and on my rest days when I'm home, I dab it on the reddened areas to let it absorb.

As for downsides, I don't really have any. Wow..my face looks dull due to freckles and the freckles have been increasing over time.. While I can't make the existing freckles disappear, I'm using this product to prevent them from getting worse. It definitely stopped the freckles from increasing and the lighter ones have been fading. My complexion also looks brighter. It's expensive but it's worth it. I tried the sample sent by Aesop and everything seemed to work well.
