The hydration is decent enough. However, given the current situation where we're wearing masks, I wouldn't recommend it for going out. The scent is truly... unbearable. The artificial apple fragrance is so strong it gives me a headache. Apply a thick layer at night.

The application was nice. The size was just right, and the scent wasn't bad either, but... It didn't suit my child. After applying it for a few days, blemishes appeared around the lips, and the lips even started bleeding. This is a product I always buy and use. If there's one thing it excels at, it's taming those dead skin cells! When I slather a generous amount of Carmex lip balm on my lips before bed, I wake up to incredibly smooth lips the next morning. It works hard overnight! I'm not sure if it's just my lips, but when I apply lipstick over Carmex, the color doesn't spread evenly. It pills and seems to float on top. I was considering buying the jar version, but I went for the tube since it had more product. I'll definitely get the jar version too! I love that unique Hwahae feeling. It makes my lips look plump and juicy, and the deep hydration is absolutely amazing. After applying this, I can't eat anything at all. I bought the apple scent, and it has an incredibly sweet fragrance. The generous amount means it'll last for a long time. While it's great for dry winter weather, it feels a bit heavy for summer use. When you have dead skin cells on your lips, apply a thick layer and then wipe it off - it works wonders!

The moisturizing power was really great, and after applying it, my lips felt incredibly light and comfortable. I tried the apple-scented one, but the fragrance was just terrible in my subjective opinion. I tried Carmex for the first time this time, and when it felt a bit dry, I applied it and it quickly became moisturized, which I liked!! It's in a tube, so it's easy to use, and a small amount can be applied to the entire lip, which is great. In the winter, when going out, the contents sometimes freeze and don't come out well..

I was so bothered by my constantly chapped lips and peeling skin, but without doing any other special care, just swiping this on at school or at home whenever I had a chance, all that peeling skin disappeared! ♡ My lips became so smooth and clean, and I've been enthusiastically recommending it to all my friends! The price is also very reasonable at 4,000 won! It beats out most drugstore lip balms. I really love it so much. Everyone should try Carmex! I can't really think of any downsides, but if I had to say something, maybe that it's a tube format so it can be a bit tricky to apply?
