Apply a light layer of tinted lip balm, then add a small amount of this lip balm on top to banish lip dryness!

1. It's a bit oily. While it does completely eliminate deep lip dryness, it can look a bit shiny, so you need to apply it sparingly.

This lip balm has gentle ingredients and provides a noticeable moisturizing effect on the lips! I'm extremely satisfied with this product and use it regularly.

For extremely dry lips, apply a liquid lip oil product first, then layer this on top for extra hydration!

Those who dislike scents might find it a bit disappointing. I switched from the unscented Chap's version to try this scented one, and it wasn't as off-putting as I expected. If you're sensitive to scents, the unscented version might be better! I'm quite sensitive to fragrances, but I got used to it after a few uses. The scent comes from the oils, so it's not artificial, which makes it more tolerable!

I have extremely dry lips, so I slather on lip balm even in summer! I've tried many organic lip balms, but Chap's lip balm is so amazing that I had to leave a review!

Texture: Stick form. Has a yellow tint. No artificial colors, which is great!

Application: Probably the best application among stick lip balms!
Just note that it wears down quickly because it applies so smoothly.

Moisturizing power: The hydration is fantastic! It feels as if you've applied a generous layer of honey. It has a coating effect.

Absorption: The absorption is a bit lacking. It feels like it's coating your lips, and if you wipe it off, your lips might feel a bit dry. It's great to layer with a liquid oil product. However, unless your lips are extremely parched, this is more than enough!

Scent: Grapefruit and lemon aroma. No artificial fragrances, just the natural scent from the oils! It's strong when you first apply it, but it mellows out afterward.

Price: The price is so good that it makes up for any shortcomings. You can apply it generously to cover any flaws!

As mentioned above, before bed, I recommend applying a thick balm formula generously, like Vaseline, Cure Cream, or Popo Cream. During the day, carry this small stick lip balm for convenient, frequent application. This routine will keep your lips consistently moisturized.

Of course, since it's not a heavy formula like Vaseline, you need to layer it frequently, and the hydration might be slightly less. However, its small size makes it convenient to carry around and apply, so I don't have many complaints.

I bought this on iHerb to match the price. The formula melts well with lip temperature, feeling light yet smooth. The fragrance is definitely grapefruit, making it fruity and sweet. Although I prefer unscented products to sweet scents, I chose the grapefruit one. The scent can be a bit overwhelming when applying, but I think it's a matter of personal preference. (If you like Burt's Bees grapefruit lip balm, you'll probably enjoy this one too. However, if you sniff it closely, there's a slight medicinal scent.)

Considering the price, which wasn't too expensive, I've been using it for quite a while (maybe because I mainly use it when going out). I also appreciate that it's organic. Occasionally, when I can't find my Vaseline, I apply this lip balm generously before bed. After layering it several times, my lips feel moisturized and well-conditioned.
