This is a lip balm with gentle ingredients that provides great moisturization to the lips! I am extremely satisfied with this product.
Cons
You may feel a slight slipperiness when first applying it, but it is of no concern at all.

I have very dry lips, so I apply a generous amount of lip balm even in the summer! I've tried many organic lip balms, but I love the Chapstic lip balm so much that I'm leaving a review >~< Texture: Stick-type. It has a yellow color. No other pigments, which is great! Spreadability: It seems to have the best spreadability among stick lip balms!! However, since it spreads so well, it wears down quickly. Moisturizing Power: The moisturizing power is also good! It feels as moisturizing as applying honey. There's a coating-like sensation. Absorption: The absorption is a bit lacking. It has a coating-like feel, and when wiped off, it can feel a bit dry. Applying a liquid oil product and then layering this on top works well. But for extremely dry times, this is sufficient!! Scent: Grapefruit lemon scent. There are no added fragrances, just the scent from the oils! It's quite strong when first applied, but it's fine afterward! Price: The price is too good to pass up, even with the downsides. You can use it generously to cover the downsides~~
Cons
Those who dislike scents may find it a bit disappointing. I used the unscented Chapstic version before and thought of trying something else, and while the scent was stronger than expected, it didn't bother me too much. If you dislike scents, the unscented version would be better! I'm also sensitive to scents, but after using it a few times, it was fine! The scent comes from the oils, and it's not an artificial fragrance, so it's okay!
Tip
For extremely dry times, applying a liquid lip oil product first and then layering this on top makes it even more moisturizing!

I purchased this product from iHerb to match the price. It has a light and soft texture that melts well on the lips, and the grapefruit scent is definitely fruity and sweet. While I personally prefer unscented products, the grapefruit scent is a bit overpowering for me at times, but that's just a matter of personal preference. (If you like the Burt's Bees grapefruit lip balm, you'll probably enjoy this product as well. But be warned, it has a strong medicinal smell when you sniff it directly.) The price wasn't too high, and I've been using it for quite a long time (likely because I only use it for going out). I'm also pleased with the organic aspect of the product. When my lips feel dry and I can't find any Vaseline, I generously apply this lip balm before bed, and after layering it a few times, my lips feel moisturized and refreshed.
Cons
The formula is not as heavy as regular Vaseline, so I need to reapply it more often, and the moisturizing effect may be slightly less. But the compact size is convenient for carrying and applying throughout the day, so the downsides are not too significant.
Tip
As I mentioned before, I like to apply a heavier balm or cream, like Vaseline, Aquaphor, or Cerave, before bed to really moisturize my lips overnight. During the day, this smaller stick lip balm is easy to carry around and reapply as needed to keep my lips consistently soft and hydrated.
