The price is super affordable when on sale, and the color is beautifully soft and white. It gives a subtle, delicate tint to the skin~ The included puff is absolutely useless for application. I wish they'd include a small brush instead - that's a bit disappointing - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 23, 2020
This is a must-have for cool-toned beauties! It's the perfect classic lavender shade with delicate shimmering flecks that make it an irresistibly charming blush! The color payoff is great, and above all, the shimmer is absolutely stunning. What's more, it's a fantastic value for money! You can snag it for just around $3 if you catch the lowest online price. It's funny, even to me - while I love shimmer, there are days when I prefer a matte look. So on those no-shimmer makeup days, I tend to reach for something else. The shimmer is both its strength and its weakness! For better color payoff, try applying a light dusting of powder to your cheeks before applying the blush. This little trick really helps the color pop! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 23, 2020
This unique purple blush is a real gem! I was initially hesitant about applying a purple shade, but after trying this product, I fell in love with it. It goes on subtly while giving a lively appearance, and it's absolutely perfect for cool-toned skin! The powdery texture ensures long-lasting wear, and I appreciate that it doesn't have excessive excess powder. The included puff is so ineffective, it makes you wonder why they even bothered including it. It seems to absorb the blush rather than applying it. Still, it's pretty enough to keep as a decorative item. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 18, 2020
I tried this Lavender Chiffon Cake blush for the first time, venturing into this lavender shade. When I applied it to my cheeks, it showed up as a lovely color between lavender and pink, making it wearable and not overwhelming. The pigmentation is great, and there's a subtle shimmer to it. It's cute, and I love that it comes with a puff applicator for convenience. If you're looking for a more pronounced lavender color, you'll need to apply it more heavily. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2020
- When applied lightly, it gives your face an incredibly vibrant look. - The color payoff is excellent. (It's a pure purple shade without any milky undertones!) - Thanks to the subtle shimmer, this product creates a delicate highlighting effect when viewed under fluorescent lights, as if you've applied a subtle highlighter. - The puff applicator is difficult to keep hygienic. - If applied a bit too heavily, it can make you look extremely pale. (This might be because my complexion is on the lighter side, around shade 17.) - For better hygiene, I recommend using a brush instead of the puff applicator. - The vivid purple color payoff makes this product especially suitable for those with cool undertones. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2020
Color payoff: The pigmentation is gorgeous and applies beautifully! It's perfect for cool-toned skin. The color was truly stunning. Blemishes: I have super sensitive skin and had stopped using blush, but I decided to give this a try. To my surprise, it didn't cause any blemishes at all! Excess: There's no excess powder flying around! Quantity: The amount you get is really generous. I feel like I've been using the same one forever! I bought it last summer, and I'm still on my second compact! Puff: If you're like me and find puff maintenance a hassle, I recommend buying a separate puff. On the bright side, the product comes with a puff and a transparent cover, which is nice! Dry skin types: A few times a year when my skin gets extremely dry, the product would sometimes appear patchy in those areas! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 9, 2020
This product would be perfect for those with cool undertones! I initially bought it as a gift for a friend but ended up trying it myself for 3 weeks. First off, the color is beautiful, and what's even better is how it adheres to the face, giving a lovely rosy flush! Pigmentation: After applying foundation, I gently pat it on with the puff, then lightly blend with my fingers. It spreads evenly and sticks perfectly, showing great adherence! The fluffy puff applies it well, and the fine particles really contribute to the beautiful color payoff. Longevity: It seems to fade along with the foundation, lasting about 4-5 hours! Due to its fine texture and excellent adherence to the foundation, it fades naturally while maintaining its color until the end, which I personally love! The lavender shade is definitely for cool undertones! For those with warm undertones, I highly recommend the orange color! Also, while the puff is soft and fluffy, I noticed that when applying over foundation, it tends to pick up the base makeup, causing discoloration. After washing it, it lost that initial texture... I'm not sure how to restore it, so I've resorted to using a small brush instead. The basics are always important! Apply your foundation beautifully and evenly, then lightly tap on the blush for a subtle effect. Remember, too much blush can make your expression look overdone, so let's use it in moderation, everyone! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 7, 2020
The color payoff is no joke! You need to apply it very gently. This blush is an absolute must-have for cool-toned skin. The downside is the case, as usual. And with all Etude House blushes, the included puff applicator is problematic. Instead of using the included puff, try applying it with a different brush using a gentle tapping motion! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 1, 2020
As a light summer cool-toned person, I think this is my holy grail blush! I couldn't bring myself to try Cl*nique due to its high price point, but this one has similar color payoff. The tiny glitters in the blush really hit the spot for me. Considering the price, I think it has good staying power too. I'm 100% satisfied, but if I had to pick something to improve, I'd say you need to be careful with hygiene for the glitter and the puff set. Since you're applying it over base makeup, dust or residue from your base could stick to the puff and potentially cause blemishes. Of course, this applies to all makeup tools, so it's best to clean the puff when you wash your brushes or replace it with a new one. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2019
This blush is absolutely fantastic for cool-toned skin, but it might appear a bit too floaty on light cool tones. The color is predominantly lavender, unlike typical lavender blushes that often have pink and white undertones. It's quite shimmery for a blush, and the pigmentation is incredibly strong. The Etude Cookie Blush series seems to have some problematic ingredients, as it tends to cause blemishes despite its affordable price. As someone with super sensitive skin, I started experiencing itchiness and acne breakouts within a week of use. I thought it was just me, but my friends who tried this series also reported skin issues. I strongly advise against it for those with sensitive skin. While the pigmentation is good enough to work with any applicator, the built-in cushion seems to give the most beautiful application. The ribbon on the cushion tends to fall off frequently, but you can purchase replacements separately from Etude.
