This blush is absolutely fantastic for cool-toned skin, but it might appear a bit too floaty on light cool tones. The color is predominantly lavender, unlike typical lavender blushes that often have pink and white undertones. It's quite shimmery for a blush, and the pigmentation is incredibly strong. The Etude Cookie Blush series seems to have some problematic ingredients, as it tends to cause blemishes despite its affordable price. As someone with super sensitive skin, I started experiencing itchiness and acne breakouts within a week of use. I thought it was just me, but my friends who tried this series also reported skin issues. I strongly advise against it for those with sensitive skin. While the pigmentation is good enough to work with any applicator, the built-in cushion seems to give the most beautiful application. The ribbon on the cushion tends to fall off frequently, but you can purchase replacements separately from Etude. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 13, 2019
As someone with a summer cool complexion, I've tried three shades of this, including grapefruit and a pinker one. But this shade is truly gorgeous! I have extremely blemish-prone skin. I used to get acne on my cheeks, but after using the wrong foundation, it spread everywhere. I thought it was the foundation's fault, not this product's. When I found a suitable foundation and my skin calmed down, I tried this again on my cheeks. It caused widespread, weeping acne as if I had a burn. I'm at a loss for what to do. My skin was fine after changing foundations, but now it's acting up again. I'm giving it 2 points because the color is pretty. The photo shows me wearing acne patches. One tip: use a different applicator instead of the built-in puff to avoid contamination. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 22, 2018
As someone with a cool skin tone, I find this color absolutely beautiful. It instantly brightens my complexion. The pigmentation is just right, and the staying power is impressive. I applied it at 8 AM, and when I got home at 4 PM, the color was still there, albeit slightly faded. The puff is soft like cotton, but I'd prefer a brush. It would be nice if there was a plastic separator between the puff and the blush, similar to a compact powder. Also, I noticed that after some time, my cheeks tend to develop a slight redness. This shade would likely suit all summer cool tones beautifully. For winter cool tones, it might work best for those with fair skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 14, 2018
The subtle lavender undertone is lovely, and I like how it can be built up from a sheer to a more intense color. The built-in brush is shaped perfectly for the cheeks, making application a breeze. Strangely, whenever I apply this, it causes a breakout in that area. I bought it on sale yesterday, almost opting for the A'pieu one instead. Now I'm using it, but it feels wasteful to throw away due to the blemishes it causes. For best results, lightly dab the built-in brush into the product once or twice, then gently sweep it across your cheeks as if you're staining them. This technique creates a beautifully natural blush effect.
