Unlike the One Thing Houttuynia Cordata which feels like plain water, this one actually feels like a toner. It really improves skin texture! I did a skin pack and then layered it again before bed. When I washed my face in the morning, I was shocked by how smooth and silky my skin felt. I was amazed that a single toner could have such an effect! It's quite irritating... I was worried since I have super sensitive skin like a sunfish, but after applying it, my face kept feeling hot and flushed. The next day, a huge blemish appeared on my chin... I think the skin pack was too harsh. If you really want to use it, maybe mix it with the Houttuynia Cordata or just use it as a mist! I have super sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any blemishes after using this. It's gentle, which I really appreciate. I was hoping for at least a little brightening effect, but there wasn't any. Also, it's not as hydrating as I expected. I bought this green tangerine toner hoping to brighten my complexion rather than expecting it to dramatically whiten my face. As someone with acne-prone and sensitive skin, I can say that it didn't cause any blemishes or irritation. The biggest drawback seems to be its lack of hydration. There's a saying that if you nail the basics, you're halfway there. That's exactly what this product embodies. It's truly an excellent choice for year-round use. I don't have any particular complaints. Well, maybe the fact that you can't rely on this toner alone? But that's true for almost all toners, so... The satisfaction level varies a bit depending on the season. Except for winter, it's a lightweight, hydrating, and gentle toner with excellent ingredients that doesn't cause irritation. Being a water-based toner, it's great for toner masking and can be applied generously without any burden. While the brightening effect isn't remarkable, I wouldn't say it's completely ineffective either! In winter, it might not provide quite enough hydration. You may need to layer it multiple times or follow up with ample moisturizer after applying the toner. I appreciate that there are no added extracts, which seems to enhance its effectiveness. I love that I can mix it with other products to customize it for my skin's needs. I'm applying it to my face using a cotton pad. I'm enjoying it because both the scent and texture are nice. I'm not sure about any downsides yet. One Thing is just fantastic no matter what. It's a brand I trust implicitly... of course, I'm referring specifically to their toner extracts. The ingredients are so good that other toners just don't compare. There's not really anything to complain about... but when it's with other One Thing toners, they all look so similar that I have to mark them to tell them apart. As for the packaging... I actually draw little pictures in the blank spaces!
