For best results, apply this, then any emulsion, followed by a water cream. Your makeup won't budge - it's a perfect combination!

There weren't any major downsides, but as with all Jung Saem Mool products, the price is a bit steep. It has a subtle herbal scent, which I think even those with sensitive noses could tolerate. It's quite mild.

I tried this sample and wow, it makes my skin feel so hydrated! It's like it preps my skin perfectly for makeup. There's no oily residue, it's just right. I think it would suit any skin type. I've also used other Jung Saem Mool products (like their sun protection and water cream) and they work together like a dream. If you've struggled with makeup not staying put, I highly recommend trying a few Jung Saem Mool products!

Haven't seen immediate results yet. Might need to apply it for a bit longer to see the effects.

I'm currently using it as a skin pack, and I find it nice to use as a pack because it has a good viscosity, and my skin feels much more moisturized after using it.

Nothing really. Just that it's not just a cleansing water, so you need to have clean hands when using it.

Compared to other toners, this one had more moisture and felt heavier, which was great for my dry skin! I used about 3 bottles.

It contains PEG and phenoxyethanol.
It also has the fragrance ingredient glyoxal, which is considered a high-risk ingredient even at 0.01%.
That makes me a bit uncomfortable.

These days, consumers are very knowledgeable about ingredients, so I wish they would avoid using those kinds of ingredients.

I didn't normally use this for skincare.
After checking the ingredients, I saw that it contained PEG and phenoxyethanol, which are on the list of 20 cautionary ingredients for me.
So I thought it might be quite irritating to my skin if used for skincare, so I only tried it before applying makeup.

First of all, it was moisturizing.
Since it's meant to be used as a toner before makeup, it helped a lot in refining my skin texture,
and I also felt like it helped with my skin's roughness.

However, since it's just a toner, I didn't expect it to provide a lot of hydration.
When I applied a water-based cream or essence on top, it seemed to create a better base for my makeup.

I didn't experience any breakouts.
But after using this, compared to the gentle toners I normally use, I did notice some redness on my cheeks and around my nose.
After using it a few times, I stopped using it.

I don't plan to repurchase this. I'll just stick to my gentle toners.

The basic products of Jeongsaem Water are not particularly great in terms of ingredients, but they didn't cause any trouble either.

It was good - refreshing and crisp, not just watery, and slightly moisturizing.

There wasn't really anything disappointing, and since I used it as a cleansing toner, I went through it quickly, so I wish they had offered a larger size.

While it is hydrating, the absorption is quite slow. It takes a long time for the toner to fully absorb when I'm getting ready in the morning, which is a bit inconvenient. It's good for my nighttime skincare routine, but personally I prefer a lighter skin product in the mornings.

This can be both a pro and a con - the texture is a bit thick and heavy, so it may not be everyone's preference. If you don't like that kind of thick, heavy application, I wouldn't recommend this product.
