ConsIt transferred a bit onto my mask. After using it for about 3 days, I developed blemishes on my chin and nose. That's why I reduced my rating from 4 stars to 3.

ConsI used the Too Cool For School contour for about 4 years without any blemishes or irritation, but when I first tried this one, I got blemishes and redness exactly along my jawline contour area. While there's nothing wrong with the ingredients per se, I've decided not to use it anymore

It's perfect for defining the nose, chin, and hairline all at once, which means less clutter in my makeup bag. Despite my clumsiness, it's quite sturdy (survived two drops!). For cool-toned contouring, this is unbeatable in terms of value for money.
ConsOccasionally, I get clogged pores and blemishes. Make sure to cleanse thoroughly! Also, be careful with the lid - it's quite thin and delicate.
TipFor the chin, start with the darker shade on the outer edges and blend inwards, applying multiple thin layers. This creates a super natural contour!

ConsWhile it doesn't contain any known allergens, it seems to have a high talc content. The areas where I applied the Rom&nd contour became itchy and I even developed some blemishes. I've only experienced this before with eyeshadows that have a lot of talc. I'll keep using it and update my review if I'm more certain about the effects.
TipThe brush you use is crucial. Since the color payoff is quite subtle, it's best to use a large, fluffy brush for application.

I've always stuck to grayish-brown contours since highly saturated ones don't suit me well. With other products, I'd have to apply them lightly to avoid a heavy look, which meant I couldn't achieve the defined contour I wanted. But this one? It applies smoothly without any chalkiness, yet still gives great color payoff. Even when applied more heavily, it looks natural and sculpts beautifully. There's no patchiness or excess powder flying around - I'm absolutely thrilled with it! It seems like a perfect product for contouring beginners too.
ConsI haven't been using it long enough to notice any major downsides, but I'm getting a slight feeling that blemishes might be appearing around the edges of my face...?

I'm not sure if it's because I bought it during the pre-sale, but I was satisfied with the price-to-volume ratio - it's affordable with a generous amount of product. Another aspect I appreciated was the color composition. After my go-to Macaron Gray was discontinued, I switched to Peanut Blossom from BBIA. However, I always felt it was lacking due to its small size and single shade. This product, on the other hand, is perfectly sized for contouring and comes with two shades, allowing me to achieve my desired depth of shading. I also liked how they considered the lower usage of darker shades by reducing their proportion and increasing the lighter shade. While the color isn't overly gray, it seems more suitable for cool complexions compared to other contouring products I've used, which I really appreciate!
ConsEven though this product is free from allergens and 20 cautionary ingredients, why am I still getting blemishes? When I first used it for about 3 days, I noticed some blemishes appearing around my jawline where I applied the most contour. I initially thought it was just my skin acting up, so I decided to finish using my Peanut Blossom before switching to the Rom&nd shading. After my skin improved significantly, I took the Rom&nd shading on a trip. By the second day of use, I developed cystic acne along both sides of my jawline, and by the third day, it had worsened considerably. As soon as I stopped using the shading, the acne began to clear up. While I do have sensitive skin, I've never reacted this strongly to color cosmetics before, so the breakout caught me off guard. I've had a similar experience with Cezanne blush causing blemishes on my cheeks before. If you've had issues with Cezanne blush, I'd recommend patch testing this shading product before purchasing! I was so excited to find a good shading product after a long time, but this is disappointing.
