Skin type: Combination dehydrated, sensitive with redness, blemish-prone, visible pores Preferred skin finish: Subtle glow with a semi-matte look, prefer thin layers (yellow-based foundation fan), shade 21 Key points for base makeup: Long-lasting, good coverage Previously loved product: Wake Make Water Velvet Foundation I was torn between this and the Shiseido Synchro Skin, but decided on RMK as it's more affordable for a seasonal foundation. Despite being in a jar, I use a spatula and it works surprisingly well! Color: 2 parts yellow base, 1.5 parts pink base Natural glow + feels like you're wearing nothing Coverage: 3.5 out of 5 Excellent longevity, no darkening, and fades beautifully No downsides so far Planning to use it extensively during fall and winter Perfect match with a large puff Mix 1:1 with a semi-matte foundation for incredible staying power and a beautiful glow - 92******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 30, 2023
Excellent for achieving a plump, youthful skin look. I often reach for this when I want to appear younger or have a clear, radiant complexion. Even considering it's a foundation, the ingredients aren't particularly impressive. Even if you use a different foundation, try this product on your forehead, cheeks, and chin. It's totally possible to achieve a '5 years younger' skin appearance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2021
1. It offers versatile skin expression. Depending on how you apply it, you can achieve a matte, dewy, or glowing finish. 2. It provides solid coverage comparable to a concealer. 3. The wear time is reasonably acceptable. The glass bottle packaging makes me a bit concerned about potential contamination each time I open and close it. I wish it came in a tube, cushion, or different packaging. You can use it as a concealer by applying it with a lip brush. - 20******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 3, 2020
When I first applied it, I thought the color was a bit disappointing as it didn't give an immediate brightening effect. However, once fully applied, it blends incredibly naturally with my original complexion. The naturalness of the color is truly on par with Dior's 24-hour foundation - it's that natural! Plus, I love how it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. The longevity is somewhat lacking. With mask-wearing, I've become more aware of makeup staying power, and I haven't found anything as long-lasting as Estée Lauder or Tarte yet. This one seems to have similar longevity to Dior's 24-hour foundation. It's not bad, but leaves something to be desired. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 10, 2020
I received a sample of the gel-creamy foundation and visited the store to test it on my cheeks. They applied the regular creamy foundation on one side and the EX version on the other. The creamy foundation had a semi-matte finish, making my skin look radiant with a slight moisturizing effect, but still felt somewhat matte. The EX foundation, true to its advertising, gave a dewy finish as if I'd just had a facial. Even my boyfriend, who's clueless about cosmetics, noticed the difference between the two sides. The staff mentioned that the EX version can be used year-round. I didn't feel any heaviness or lack of coverage. After walking around for a while, I checked at home and there was no significant breakdown or messiness. Oh, and for those who use shade 21, I'd recommend trying 201 instead of 101, as 101 might look too bare. As expected, the packaging is the only downside, but even that looks luxurious so I can't complain! It's crucial to have a solid skincare routine. Using Bioderma (pomade) + Innisfree (probiotics cream) makes your skin super hydrated. Be careful with products containing hyaluronic acid, as they can cause pilling. Watch out for that!
