Is there another fragrance that captures the essence of freshly laundered linen bedding so perfectly? It evoked the feeling of lazily lounging in bed on a Sunday morning, as if the scent itself transported me to that relaxed state. This soap-like scent tends to be quite polarizing, and I can understand both perspectives. It's a mix of clean soap and artificial notes. Compared to Blanche, another soapy fragrance I've tried, I slightly preferred that one. This one has a more noticeable synthetic quality. If you're not fond of musk or aldehydes, you probably won't enjoy this. While I liked the drydown more than the initial burst, after multiple tests it didn't fully win me over enough to purchase. The deciding factor is that this brand conducts animal testing, so I won't be supporting them in the future. - ya********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2025
It's a scent that's both familiar and unique. A cotton fragrance with floral notes, but not overly delicate. There's a hint of freshness added, which I really like. The bottle design is particularly appealing - simple yet modern, making it pleasant to carry around. Apparently inspired by apothecary bottles, it's got that 'hip' design that the younger generation would appreciate! The scent leans slightly more towards musk than pure cotton, making it suitable for both men and women. Those expecting a typical cotton scent might be disappointed. It's not overwhelmingly soft and fluffy, which was a plus for me, but could be a drawback for others. - ho***Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 8, 2025
I've used the body emulsion with the same scent before, and I remember liking its unique yet pleasant fragrance. That's why I started with the 10ml product. The initial scent is a bit stronger than the body emulsion, but as time passes, a subtle and cozy aroma emerges. It's interesting how the initial notes are reminiscent of cotton or powdery scents, while the later notes transform into a more feminine, cosmetic-like fragrance. I find both phases appealing, which keeps me sniffing it repeatedly! While the longevity isn't extremely long, if you spray it on your clothes the night before, it seems to last quite well into the next day. However, if you prefer fragrances that smell more natural, you might find this one a bit too artificial or 'perfume-like'. - ne**Dry SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2024
A cozy yet fresh musk scent? It reminds me of fabric softener or fabric freshener. At first, I thought it would suit women well, but after continued use, I realized it could be equally appealing for men. The fragrance isn't heavy, giving off a subtle and clean feeling that I've enjoyed using throughout all seasons. I bought this at a high-end department store for a premium price, only to find it selling for less online. Compared to other products, I felt that this particular scent had notably poor longevity. - ji******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 1, 2024
This perfume has a cute vibe with a girlish scent. The packaging is also pretty and lovely. There's nothing particularly bad about it. It might be disappointing if it doesn't match the image you're going for. - sk*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2024
- Scent I expected a warm and cozy fragrance given the name 'Lazy Sunday Morning', but I was surprised by its cool and refreshing scent. Some people describe it as soapy or sweet, but I didn't get that at all. Instead, I found the base notes of musk and civet to be more prominent. (It's fascinating how different people perceive scents differently.) That's why I consider it a very unisex fragrance. The scent is subtle and not overpowering, which I initially thought would be perfect for summer and fall. However, I now think it could work well for all seasons. At first, I was a bit disappointed, but the more I smell it, the more I like it. It's a fragrance with a unique charm! - Longevity As I somewhat expected, the longevity is on the shorter side. - Lack of cap Why doesn't it have a cap? I don't like dust getting on the nozzle, so this is a bit disappointing. - qk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 20, 2024
It has such a clean, fresh scent! Not floral or anything like that, but more like the smell of freshly laundered bedding. The fragrance is neutral, making it perfect for both men and women to use. The top of the lid has a hole in it...? It's a bit surprising, but it doesn't really cause any inconvenience. - la******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2024
I absolutely adore this scent. It's like the cozy aroma of fresh bedding, but with a warm feeling that's not overpowering. It's a gentle, soothing musk that's not heavy at all. While the notes include floral and musk, it doesn't have that overwhelming floral scent or the intense muskiness that can feel suffocating like some traditional perfumes. Instead, it embodies the signature Maison Margiela trait of androgynous charm. There's a subtle sweetness that's not quite sweet, a delicate essence that's both cool and warm, creating a refreshing sensation. Just like the soft bedding pictured on the package, it's reminiscent of crisp, white sheets - a completely harmless style. This is just my personal impression as a fragrance novice. There are absolutely no drawbacks, except for the one common issue you often find with perfumes - its longevity. I use the same Maison Margiela Lazy Sunday Morning scent for my hand cream and body emulsion too! Using products with the same fragrance tends to improve longevity. (Also, even with the same scent, each product has slight differences in formulation or ingredients, which can create subtly different olfactory experiences.) You don't necessarily need to use products with the exact same scent - layering different fragrances can work well too. But I've found that using an unscented body emulsion as a base before applying perfume can help. The moisturizing effect seems to help the skin absorb the fragrance better, potentially improving its staying power. - ya********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2024
My first ever fragrance. I chose this as I heard it's a great introductory scent. It truly seems to be a universally appealing fragrance. I'm very satisfied. Because it's such a universally pleasant and safe scent, it might become a bit boring if used daily. This scent truly gives a refreshing and cozy feeling when you're lounging in bed! It's likely to be a universally appealing fragrance. The scent is exactly as described. The longevity of the fragrance... well, it really varies. When I first received a sample sprayed on a scent strip and left it in my car, the fragrance lasted for about a month. However, when sprayed on skin, it seems to last only 2-3 hours. In my case, as I love lingering scents, I spray it once on my clothes (around the waist area) before heading to work in the morning. The fragrance lasts until I get home. Of course, it doesn't project strongly enough for others to notice, but it subtly wafts up every time I move. It's a bit disappointing that the longevity seems to be lower when applied directly to the skin.
