  First off, the texture is incredibly rich and hydrating. From the moment I applied it, words like 'moisture', 'hydration', and 'elasticity' immediately came to mind! Recently, I've been using this as the final step in my nighttime skincare routine. After my retinol treatment and basic toner, I apply my desired functional serum for hydration, and then seal it all in with this cream. I'm extremely satisfied with how it works, so I highly recommend it!

  Cons

  Even if you have very dry skin, I wouldn't recommend using this for daytime care, especially before makeup, going out, or applying sunscreen. It leaves your skin looking excessively shiny. If you do decide to wear it out, I'm afraid your face might become a magnet for all the dust and particles in the air!

  It's amazing to apply this before makeup in winter - your makeup really adheres well! Highly recommended! (Plus, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous...)

  Here's my review as a Hwahae Tester after using the product for two weeks! My skin type is combination dehydrated to dry. In the morning, I only use a toner pack followed by a light emulsion before applying makeup, so I thoroughly tested this product in my evening routine. For about three days, I used it comfortably and found it nicely hydrating. It has a good balance of oil and moisture, leaving the skin feeling moisturized. It also gave my skin a lovely glow, making it look healthier. However, it's slightly on the richer side, so I'd recommend it more for those with dry skin rather than oily skin types.

  Cons

  The fragrance is quite strong! At first, I was delighted by the scent for about three seconds, but then I started worrying if it might be too much for my skin. On days when my skin feels sensitive, I naturally gravitate towards milder products with less fragrance. Also, after using it for about three days, I noticed some small blemishes popping up - perhaps due to its rich texture. Because of this, I've started using it more like a treatment, applying it every three days instead of daily.

  Tip

  For those with oily skin, I'd suggest using just a small amount, spreading it evenly, and then gently patting it in to help absorption. Follow up with a light moisturizer to finish. If you have dry or combination skin, you might want to use this as a treatment every three days when your skin needs extra nourishment. Apply it like you would a serum, massage it in, and treat it like a nourishing mask. It's really great for facial massage and helping to define your facial contours!

  I'm leaving this review as one of The Hwahae Testers! First off, it's incredibly hydrating. Secondly, it absorbs really well. Third, the scent is quite pleasant! Fourth, I loved that the container allows for easy dispensing of a single-use amount. Fifth, despite my super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any breakouts when using it! Also, they included a few samples - great customer service!

  I have combination dehydrated skin, and I'm not sure if it's because of that, but when I apply it like my usual products, oil tends to surface too easily in my T-zone. That was a bit disappointing.

  Due to my combination dehydrated skin, I've found it works better if I first apply it to areas excluding the T-zone, then use the remaining amount on the oilier parts. This method seems to work somewhat better for me.

  The Hwahae Testers Skin type: Combination, sensitive. My skin often turns red when using incompatible cosmetics. I rarely get blemishes. Fortunately, this product wasn't irritating for me, and I didn't experience any redness or adverse reactions. It was fine. The texture is serum-like, but it's not lightweight. It's more like a slightly rich gel cream with good absorption. When applied to the skin, it feels incredibly hydrating and gives a radiant glow. After using toner and just this serum, even after blow-drying my hair, my skin didn't feel tight or dry at all. It has a rich feel that gives the skin a luminous glow and somehow makes makeup application feel more hydrating. I prefer skincare with a bit of richness, so I think I'll use this well in winter.

  While the packaging looks pretty, it's disappointing that you can't see how much product is left. Also, people with oily skin might find it a bit too rich.

  For extra hydration, try layering it two or three times when using it in the evening routine.
