You can find similar shades in palettes at Olive Young, but they're usually grainy and dry... not like this product's natural and beautiful shimmer. It's hard to describe, but it's just different. Applying Night Star to the eyelids gives such a subtle, ethereal glow that's perfect for a fresh-faced look. If you're not into bold eye makeup or struggle with intense colors, you'll love this product. It's great for that effortless chic vibe and adds a touch of elegance for formal occasions. It looks so sophisticated and is truly worth the $30 price tag. When you see the delicate gold shimmer under the lights, you'll understand why it's called Night Star. You won't find this kind of quality in drugstore brands. It's not a mainstream product, but those in the know really appreciate it. The dry texture, white base color, and matte shimmer mean it doesn't last very long. After a while, you might notice some fallout on your face. The signature matte NARS packaging looks nice at first, but I'm afraid to carry it in my makeup bag because it gets dirty so easily. I think this product looks better applied with fingers rather than a brush. I was contemplating buying it for a while, and then I received it as a gift. I'm absolutely thrilled with it. It's incredibly beautiful! Above all, the price is truly wicked. Except for the cost, I'm satisfied with everything else. It's perfect for highlighting aegyo-sal (under-eye puffiness). The first products I bought from NARS were Nightstar and Galapagos, and they were great colors for daily use. With a beige base and gold pearl combination, it suited warm-toned complexions well. I loved how easily it applied even with fingers, and since the color was light, it didn't create harsh lines, making it forgiving even with a quick application. While the base color faded over time, leaving what looked like transparent glitter, it still sparkled beautifully under the light. Although this was the pre-renewal version, the durability seemed weak as the lid came off after just one drop. The case surface also became sticky over time, as if it was melting, making it difficult to maintain. Why on earth did I only discover this now? As a NARS devotee, I'm kicking myself for all the time I've missed out on this gem. Nothing else has ever given me 100% satisfaction, but this product is my holy grail. It's subtle yet impactful, and the color is exactly what I've been searching for all along. I use it on my aegyo sal and eyelids, and it's far more striking than larger shimmer particles I've tried before. The effect when I do my makeup with this is absolutely stunning. There's a tiny bit of fallout, but it's not severe enough to be a deal-breaker. I'm very satisfied overall. You really see its true potential when you apply it with your fingers.

The packaging is absolutely stunning. The price point is rather steep. You can find eyeshadows with more intense glitter payoff at more budget-friendly prices. For optimal application and color payoff, it's best to apply this eyeshadow using your fingertips.

It's perfect as a base, evening out my complexion beautifully. With just this, some eyeliner, and a touch of contouring, the look is stunning. It's especially great for highlighting under the eyes and as a base for the eyelids. The downside is that while the glitter particles are large, they tend to fall off easily. Throughout the day, you can feel the glitter falling into your eyes. When applied under the eyes, the glitter goes wild, spreading all over your cheeks!

This is an absolute must-have daily item for those with deep undertones, perfect for creating that adorable aegyo-sal look! When applied, the base color and texture make the area pop, while the shimmery shadows sparkle beautifully, adding a lovely dimension. I highly recommend this to anyone who's been loving Honey Rust, BE286, or Golden Pink, but is now looking for a brighter shade to highlight their aegyo-sal. There's a bit of shimmer fallout, but it's worth it for how pretty it looks!
